Most of the selection of trucks are pretty good. My favorite so far is «Eat Chutney Mary’s» My least favorite is the sushi something or other. Really? Sushi from a mobile truck? «buyer beware!» A couple of other favorites of mine: Grillaz Gone Wild Sam’s Chowder Mobile

Oh this is the best place for lunch! There are different food trucks that provide an array of delicious options. I have had chicken and waffles, burgers, all the way to clam chowder. I never bring lunch on Wednesdays. The people are friendly and food is always to quality. Be ready to spend $ 15 at lunch and give yourself a little extra time. There are usually lines. Definitely worth the wait and cost!!!

It’s not the biggest group of trucks, but two is more than nothing in this food desert! There really isn’t much food out here and so its a very nice thing for Anderson’s Honda to host a couple food trucks every Wednesday. So far the trucks haven been on the good side, nothing too fancy, nothing too crappy. The lines are not too bad either maxing out at 20 people and maybe 10 minutes wait for your food. So if you are out here in la la land, head over to Anderson’s Honda on Wednesdays 11 – 2!

It seemed a bit strange at first to serve an Indian and Korean flavored chicken taco in a corn tortilla, but it was really good!

What a waste of time! We showed up a little after 1pm and there were 2 trucks. By the time we parked there was only one truck — hot dogs. Sorry, it wasn’t a hot dog kind of day.

Excellent Tasty food. Reasonable prices. All on the east side of 101, which makes it very convenient. Gold Rush, 333 taco, and SAMs chowder are all incredible. The lines are shorter before noon. The ice cream scoop truck is my absolute favorite, unfortunately it doesn’t seem to come around too often. Over all, mobile weds is a very good food experience. Thanks Anderson Honda!

Thank you Anderson Honda for hosting this moveable feast every Wednesday. I would love to see Gold Rush Eatery come back as they have been my favorite. The second in line would be Sam’s Chowder House… but they want to be the only truck and that’s just wrong. I would love to see some trucks that don’t fry half of the menu. Healthy options would be well received by most of us here at the clinic. Usually there are two trucks, but on some occasions there are three. It’s better with more trucks because of options and wait time. Our clinic only allows 30 minutes for the staff… so it’s really hard some days to get food ordered, eaten and back to clinic on time.

Food trucks galore gather here at Honda Anderson every Wednesday for lunch. This works out perfectly as my office is just around the corner. My co-workers and I love to venture out here to absorb some vitamin D and enjoy a nice meal aside from our Safeway selection in the break room. There’s usually a decent selection of cuisines among 3 trucks, but can be hit-or-miss depending on how picky you are. I can always find something fried or stir fried in garlic to please my taste buds. The lines tend to get long after 12PM, so I would suggest coming before that. Certain trucks are very good at expediting orders quickly and swiftly, but not all are alike. This is particularly beneficial on this side of Embarcadero because there is NOTHING to eat on this block. And yes, that includes Ming’s. I do not consider Ming’s to be a establishment of edible food. With that said, I always look forward to food truck Wednesday’s for lunch!

I’m glad I found out about this food truck gathering. It is located near me, and I didn’t have trouble parking(although, I’m not sure if that is normal. The parking lot didn’t look too large). This is a gathering of 3 food trucks on Wednesdays, so it is smaller than the majority of ‘Moveable Feasts’. However, Moveable Feasts only feature South Bay trucks. Mobile Wednesday attracts some trucks from San Francisco and from the East Bay, so the options are different than what Moveable Feast offers. There is no seating provided. So, it may not be as well organized or as large as the Moveable Feasts, but its closer location and different set of food trucks makes it a great alternative to Moveable Feasts.

Mobile Wednesday is the perfect lunch stop for the east side of Embarcadero! With all food choices a drive away, its great to have a selection of cuisine every Wednesday to choose from. A must if you are near Embarcadero Road and 101!

Mobile Wednesday is just what the east side of 101 needs. It’s a 1 – 3 food truck shindig every Wednesday(you guessed it!) at Anderson Honda in Palo Alto. Mobile Wednesday has been going on for most of this year and has been drawing plenty of nearby employees(who have few food options in the vicinity) and Anderson customers. The variety of trucks has so far been excellent; no truck shows up back-to-back weeks. As mentioned above, sometimes only one truck makes it out, but usually you’ll come across two or maybe even three trucks. The delicious banh mi sandwiches of O Mi Ninja, the savory and diverse tacos of 333 Truck, and the rich and tender tri-tip sandwiches of Gold Rush are just among the many types of cuisine that have shown up week after week. Sometimes an ice cream or treats truck like Scoops SJ and Waffle Amore even shows up. And even more impressively, Mobile Wednesday is starting to bring out trucks from further up the peninsula and San Francisco, including Saruno Burger, Hongry Kong, and Sam’s Chowdermobile. It’s quite easy and a lot of fun to become a food truck fanatic by getting out of the office once a week and picking up some excellent street food. The associated website posts the scheduled trucks day-of, so start out your Wednesday the best way by checking out the site. Then grab your coworkers and unleash your inner foodie.
