Smooth dirt infield. Trimmed and well-watered green grass. Good pitcher’s mound. Legit lights for night games. 200 ft home run fence. Scoreboard in center field. Batting cages. Bullpen mounds. Plentiful bleachers for fans. Even a well-run snack shack for everything from shakes to burgers. Middlefield Ballpark is owned and maintained by Palo Alto Little League, not the city. It’s impeccably maintained and puts all of the city fields to shame. Heck, it probably puts some minor league professional parks to shame.

The best ballpark for food!!! Little League season is not only in the Spring but also in the Fall(Fall Ball) and you can stop by weeknights or weekends to catch a game and eat some great food. The folks behind the counter in the snack shack are very nice(usually a husband and wife team). They make great burgers, great tri tip and my wife loves their veggie burger. Not sure where they get the food but it is high quality and the condiments are fresh as well. If you are ever in the mood to catch a game and some food, it is fresh, high quality and cheap!

When it is Little League season(March — July) great place to get a burger or tri-tip sandwich! Freshly grilled, with or without cheese. They use good quality ingredients and the price is a real value. Family run. We stop by here even when our team is not playing to watch games and hang out. Wish there were more places like this for kids and families in the area.
