Everything is clean. Good selection of colors, modern and classic available. Wide selection of gel colors, unlike other places.
Lily did my gel manicure and pedicure. They have clean and operational massage seats, liners for the foot tubs. She even served me tea!
I’ll be back to try her facial.

Enjoyed this place on a whim. My usual nail salon was closed and I just had to get a mani-​pedi today. Great value for the money. Had a mini back massage while my gel dried the last few minutes. It felt sooo good. That alone will bring me back. It lacked the fifth star because my pedi did not get a top coat.

My new «go-​to» place. Why?
1. Reasonably priced mani/​pedi, done with care by very nice women.
2. Lovely refreshed interior. Good chairs and everything is clean.

A friend told me about this salon and it is the only place I go now even thought I do not live close by. I don’t like worrying whether a new place will be clean, noisy, arrogant. (Mangosteen: Yes, No, No.) Truthfully, the massage chairs alone are worth the trip. Best of all, I find all the ladies to be sweet and diligent.

Awesome nail salon!!! Great service!!! I love this place! The ladies are super sweet and they take time to take good care of you. They do such a wonderful job and they don’t rush it through. The spa is so cute, beautiful, cozy and clean. I come to Palo Alto to visit often and my friend just recently told me about this place. I think I just found my new nail salon in Palo Alto. Definitely come here when I’m here visiting. Love, love, love this place! Definitely recommend Mangosteen!!! :)

I decided to try out Mangosteen Nails on a whim and I could not be happier. I work in downtown Palo Alto and it’s wonderful to have a quality, clean, and reasonably priced salon to go to. Lily, who runs the salon, is dedicated to ensuring any service you receive is of the utmost quality. I am dedicated to getting my nails done every two weeks and Mangosteen is my new salon of choice!

Three reasons that Mangosteen is awesome:
1) They are clean and hygienic
2) You get a quality manicure/​pedicure at a great price
3) Very friendly and they really, really want you to be happy with their services.
While the place has changed ownership recently (for the better… New owner is wonderful!) and some of the great staff remain.
They have done a lot of new remodeling & upgrades so the salon is looking Palo Alto proper now! The spa pedicure chairs are brand new and they use disposable liners.
I’ve been coming here for 3 years (every 2 weeks for a shellac mani & pedi) and have gotten great service 99% of the time and the rare time when I wasn’t happy, they did everything they could to make it right.
They do take their time to make sure you have a nice, professional mani/​pedi so if you are looking for someone to slap-​dash a sloppy shine on your digits, this is not the place for you.
**BONUS** they have a loyalty card… Get 8 mani’s and get one free!!! :)
