Halo A Blow Dry Bar

Halo Palo Alto is a fantastic dry bar. All staff are professional and make sure you leave happy even if it means doing your hair all over again. Not that this happened to me but i have seen it. I am always happy with my hair… I recommend Asiya and Katie but if they’re not available then all are great. The place is clean. Tools and brushes are always sanitized. Edna the manager is very friendly and sweet as well. She would come and finish up if needed and makes sure you are happy.

I’m now a believer in blowouts thanks to Asiya! I walk in to my appointment at 9:15am thinking I’m going to regret this… I had my website headshot appointment in an hour and I’m trusting a complete stranger to get my hair styled. I’m such a procrastinator and didn’t schedule a dry run blowout. Well, all I can say is my hair loved her! This girl is Uh-​mazing! Never have I ever NOT washed my hair for 4 days and it still look great! Yes, the Oribe Texturing Spray helps keep the fabulousness effect last longer but Asiya is a superstar in my book.

It was my first time here and let me start with all the pros!
Loved the salon! Its cute, front desk was awesome. Sarah shampood my hair and did an amazing job. She was soooo sweet. Some other really nice girl offered me a drink. Which was awesome!
Ok so let me start with Brianna. I booked an appt with her not knowing who she was. And because it was a last minute thing.
Ever since i walked in she gave me a very bad stare. She walked out to the «restroom» she then came back and asked me how i wanted my hair. The whole time, she looked upset, not happy, and was very quiet. She never asked me anything nor did she smile at me. When she was done she didnt ask me if i liked it. I got up and she walked away.
This was upsetting. I lobe the atmosphere of the salon-​bar and was excited and to get this kind of treatment isnt right. My hair looked okay, but it didnt even last till dinner time. I ended up pulling my hait back.
She lacks customer service and its sad because I really want to go back but NEVER with her. I am even willing to drive to Los Altos just so I wont see her and feel her bad energy.
Overall all, i liked the place and the other girls were very sweet and polite. I even left a tip just because it was my birthday and loved the way Sara washed my hair and the front desk Talked to me.
