I am sad to report that Eve Espresso is closing up shop. I started a new job next door at Palo Alto Research Center two months ago, and I could literally walk out of my office and be at Eve’s in two minutes. Their cookies were fantastic, and I loved the secluded spot of their café.
I didn’t get to enjoy one of the sandwiches, but they looked great and very fresh. I’m hoping one of the companies nearby throws a lifeline to Eve’s in the future to keep them in business.

I’m quite surprised that no one has written a review of this tasty little sandwich stand, but then again, it really only gets traffic by the folks who inhabit this office shared by XEROX and VMware. I’ve sampled their wares a few times now and I have to say, I’m a big fan. (And, if I don’t avoid their delicious cheeseburgers, I’ll be an even bigger one.)
Can’t speak for their cold sandwiches, but the burger, falafel wrap and BLT are delicious. On top of that, the owner is friendly and attentive. Not sure what more you could want from a fancy sandwich cart!
