Stanford Family Medicine has turned a good doctor into an automaton. She only looks at the computer screen and is typing during your entire visit. Not surprisingly, she is unable to remember you from a visit two days prior. Sad.

Dr. Seekamp was my PCP in MA… and I was SO SAD to see her go to California in 2008!
She is, hands down, the BEST doctor I’ve ever had — friendly, smart, so knowledgeable, and the best bedside manner… She makes notes about everything, is approchable to ask about ANYTHING.
I measure all of my doctors to Dr. Seekamp… and sadly I have not been able to find a suitable replacement since she left! Seriously. She is an amazing doctor.

As a nurse practitioner, mother, and woman — I love love love Seekamp. She is sharp, very personable, smart as hell, and very very thorough. She runs on time and she is so efficient. Her communication skills as a collegue and patients are the best I have ever worked with in my 15 years at Stanford. Among the laundry list of stuff she asked me about in my annual exam — she asked me about whether I text paged during driving! She is awesome. I just love that she thinks of everything when taking care of her patients — not just what is the problem for that day. Go to her and fast before she fills up and cannot take anymore patients.
