Hugo is great. He’s very personable, easy to talk to, knowledgeable, and frank.

One of the rare doctors who don’t get annoyed by inquisitive questions about an ailment, a condition, or a possible treatment. He is VERY knowledgeable, and does not get defensive when you quote some of the information you gathered on the web. A very nice person too.

One of the best! Felt very lucky to have him as my primary physician when I was in California. Asks the right questions, runs the right tests, and very reassuring when you are ill. I actually enjoy the large facility where everything can be done in one place.(minus picking up prescriptions)

Dr. Yang has been my internist for the past 4 – 5 years, which is to say I’ve now met him a small handful of times when I’m either under the weather or doing a rare check-up. I’ve found Dr. Yang to be responsive, easy to talk with and generally on top of things, so I keep going back. I’d guess that Dr. Yang is in his mid 30s, so he fits nicely into that groove of having finished his residency years ago but also being far from retirement. I don’t love the enormous, hospital-like facilities here at Palo Alto Medical Foundation, but they do appear state-of-the-art and they are centrally located right across from Stanford. Special note: Dr. Yang takes appointments starting at 7:40am! [Yes, he works midday for you late risers as well.]
