Just ok ! Wonton was so over cooked and was mushy and they had bean sprout in it which makes husband don’t care for. So he didn’t eat it at all. Sushi was ok. My spicy tuna wasn’t too fresh. Shrimp pad Thais didn’t have a side of fresh bean sprouts which I love.

Food and sushi was amazing !! Service was great. I must admit the pad Thai was amazing and rock-​n-​roll was to die for and sashimi was so fresh. Fried ice cream was also very delicious! Yumm yumm!!!

My coworker and I were in the area today for work and decided to check this place out for lunch. Had great reviews and pictures looked great.
Well lunch was fabulous. The sushi was fabulous and i highly recommend for lunch! Great deal for 2 sushi rolls, a salad, soup and spring roll for $ 11, you can’t beat that.
After a filling lunch, we decided to gamble on the fried cheesecake and tempura ice cream! It was delish!

Just tried this place for the first time and it is some of the best sushi I have ever had. The menu was very extensive with a great variety of special rolls. Their Spicy tuna is outstanding! The staff was extremely friendly and the service was excellent. I highly recommend the spicy tuna crunch and the buc-​an-​roll.

My husband and I love this place. The Tuna Tatami is excellent. We get it every time. I LOVE the Three Sum roll. The service is great too. I’ve had the curry as well and would get it again if I could pull myself away from the sushi.

Service was good. Their red curry can use some more flavor. We ordered 4 sushi dishes. Had some weird names. One name was «screaming». I ate there about five nights ago. I forgot the other three names. Of which rolls we are. Overall, if I lived closer, I would return but I live 35 minutes away.

So I have lived in Seattle and New York City so besides actually eating in Japan, I believe I know good sushi. That being said this place is great! Not only was the sushi very good but what got me was they were soooo friendly. That’s the kind of service that gets you good reviews. Wish the place was slightly bigger but other than that me and the e wife will be back for more

The reviews were right on. Excellent food. Ordered the steamed dumplings, chicken satay, fresh spring rolls with shrimp, pad Thai and sushi for us. Everything is made there including the sauces. The peanut sauce was perfection as was the fresh spring rolls. Those were really fresh, the rice paper wrappers were so soft. This should never be cold or hard. These were gorgeous. The food was prepared perfectly, shrimp was tender and juicy, chicken satay as well was so moist and fresh. In a small strip center.

As many reviewers have stated this restaurant is located in an unassuming strip mall, however don’t let that distract you, the menu is large & the quality of food very good, we ate Pad See ew, massaman curry & sushi, along with included with soup & spring roll, all dishes were very good & with many other dishes we want to try, we can see becoming regulars in short order, service was super friendly, very professional, ambience is nothing to rave about, ample parking out front, many daily specials & discounted lunch menu

Love this sushi place! It’s in an unassuming strip mall which first gave me hesitations I try it, but it ended up being amazing! The fish is so fresh and we always ask for the «chunk» tuna in the spicy tuna toll, because I don’t like mine minced. They are always so accommodating! Wonton soup is fabulous as well as all their curry! We’ve been there probably 15 times and it’s ALWAYS excellent! A palmetto hidden gem!

This was the best sushi I have ever had! Portions were very generous and you definitely feel like you get your moneys worth! The chefs special rolls come with 10 – 12 pieces and were very fresh. I had the Rock’n’Roll and my friend had the BaBa roll and would reccomend them. The place looks like a hole in the wall in the strip mall but don’t judge it until you get inside. I wish I had anything even close to this good back home!

My husband and I moved to this area from Tampa, leaving behind a wonderful sushi spot. We were so pleased to find this place and actually find it to be better than our old spot because not only does it offer awesome sushi but also wonderful dishes. You can order anything as hot as you want it too, which my husband loves. I highly recommend this place to any sushi lover or in general for Asian cuisine.

Came here on a whim with a few lads for dinner before the UFC McGregor fight… NO REGRETS! Really diverse menu and friendly staff.
It’s a true «hole in the wall» type of place in a tiny plaza but it’s ran very authentically.
* Get the Bang Bang (even if it’s not on the menu)
* Thressome Roll (everyone loves all types of threesomes)

Hidden gem. Does anyone think there is a better sushi place in manatee or Sarasota county? We don’t! This is by far the BEST sushi place around for many reasons! The atmosphere, staff, price, quality, quantity, and presentation is absolutely top notch!
The staff is personable, fun and attentive! We love coming to visit them on top of enjoying the food. They remember our favorites and get excited to see us! We eat sushi at least once a week and try every place we can. We prefer sashimi and judge every place on their chirashi bowl. Photos posted and have not found a restaurant that comes close to comparing to this hidden gem!

This truly is the best sushi in the area, but the Thai dishes are just OK. I can recommend the Lava Special Roll, Monster Roll, and my personal favorite, the Spicy Scallop Roll. They do a special crab roll when they can get real crab in. It’s huge and I recommend it if you’re there on a day they have it. (Can’t remember exactly what it’s called but it would be on the specials board). The only bad roll I’ve had was the Spider Roll– soft shell crab was past it’s prime. For appetizers I can recommend the spring rolls, nothing fancy but good, and the Crab Rangoon. For Thai, I’ve had the Pad Thai which was OK, but didn’t knock my socks off. I’ve also had a stir fry dish called «Amazing» but it’s pretty much just thick peanut sauce from a jar dumped on meat and vegetables– not good at all.

This food is absolute delicious! So much flavor packed in, it’s amazing! I ordered the monster roll and my mother ordered the Rock-​n-​roll. Large, delicious, and inexpensive. They will take a while to make however but keep in mind that they’re making it in large portions and they make them beautiful. I will be regular for sure

OK ok I must admit this place was pretty satisfying… tonight was my first time eating here n I wanted sushi sooooo bad I didn’t eat at work the last 5 hours to make room for this dinner… The pineapple fried rice was very tasty n presentation was on point. I love the sushi varieties I chose so full right now n its been 2.5 hours since I ate. Took home leftovers me n my family enjoyed their food… I will be back y’all lol.

If you like rolls, this is the place for you. The actual sushi selection is limited. So I made up for that with a nice bottle of cold sake. My sister and BIL ordered several rolls and really enjoyed them. My sushi was well prepared and tasty. The wait for food can be a little long at times, but the servers let you know that up front.
It’s a nice place, but I need to find another place that serves a bigger variety of sushi.

So good I want to move to Palmetto. My wife and I have been addicted to Thai food for years and are always looking for a place that is like «Our favorite Thai» in Brandon. We went here to have sushi while visiting family and noticed all the Thai selections they had on the menu including Tom Kha Coconut soup. Now we are really picky on Tom Kha soup but after the first bite, it was the best we have had. The sushi is fresh and so beautifully prepared it’s almost to pretty to eat. I have had Thai, Chinese and sushi there and I have yet to find something that is not perfectly prepared and presented. I wish I could find a place this good and so reasonably priced in Orlando.

Excellent sushi, fish has been well cared for. Sashimi Hamachi and Tuna both had good taste and texture. Rolls were presented beautifully plated and generous portions.
Thai food is killer! Try the Tom Kah soup. Apparently the now departed Thai bistro cook has moved here. They are using better ingredients which makes a huge difference.
There are not many good places to eat around Palmetto and I would recommend you give this place a try.
