Rite Aid

This Rite Aid is very horrible I call them pill notzies. They ask more questions than my doctor. All they are good for is counting pills and counting money I have not gone there in a few years and will never go there again. I tell everyone I can to stay away from this shitty establishment. One pharmacist in particular should have his glasses knocked off the tip of his nose.

I had the worst experience in this pharmacy. The pharmacist was a male gentleman I use that term loosely because he was actually no gentleman at all. I had called around because my home pharmacy and every pharmacy in the area was out of the particular medication I was looking for, well this location came up on my maps so I tried them. When I called I gave my name and birthdate and the medication I was looking for. The lady on the phone was super pleasant and said they have it in stock, so I headed down there. When I arrived the pharmacist took my script looked at it and asked where I normally go. I told him the two pharm’s I normally use and I guess he called one I’m not sure. Then handed me back my script and told me it was too early. If it was too early why did my Doc write the script for today’s date, well then I explained to the pharmacist that I was headed on a trip and would not be able to fill my script in the state I am going to. The pharm told me to have a nice trip very sarcastically and I was still being pleasant and asked if he had called my Doc to verify. I guess this pissed him off because he came out from out behind the counter and asked me to wait in this small room with two chairs. It looked like an interrogation room. He then started to walk out of the room then turned around and said he wasn’t going to waste his time or my time anymore and he had too many customers waiting. He then got right into my face and stuck his finger up at my chest and yelled «Don’t tell me how to do my job» I guess as he was saying this he got more upset and stuck his finger into my chest and repeated himself «Don’t tell me how to do my job» twice each time louder and louder! The last time I would say was on the verge of screaming at me and poked me rather hard with his finger. I’m not sure if he realizes but that is assault, I did nothing but put my head down and apologize, but for what why did I need to apologize. Bottom line I was incredibly intimidated, hurt, and embarrassed! I will never visit another Rite Aid pharmacy again because of this jerk. I am so glad I restrained myself and stayed polite because I was PISSED!!! I can not believe someone can treat a customer like that, I felt like a criminal what did I do wrong? Why was the script dated for today if it couldn’t be filled today I think my doctor is wonderful and knows what he’s doing. I also have a full time job and don’t have multiple days to run around and take care of this!!! Stay away from this store, horrible horrible service! Someone needs to tell this guy how to do his job because he has a lot to learn about how to treat customers!!! I hope this was helpful.

I give the store part with the employees in that section full five stars decent helpful and some good deals if you look around… But the Pharmacy forget it they really don’t care about you even when you get the same scripts every month for years and you show up and they don’t have any of the medication you use. Now I got this medication the same time of the month each and every time and they look at you like your crazy and in one breath they say one thing and then change the story around and say something else. Your best bet use a local pharmacy like Shipman’s or first national Pharmacy in Lehighton these two stores help you and really care about you
