The best Popeye’s in the AV. Their chicken is always nice, hot, and fresh! They don’t have many good employees aside from the 2 light skin black men who work here (one I think is the manager) but at least those two are very professional and cordial. Drive thru service isn’t the best (its either the confused hispanic young man who repeats everything back to me completely wrong at least twice before he gets it right or the older hispanic guy also seems to barely understand me-​that one gave me the wrong drink and sauces and looked at me as if I’d made the mistake. Also, in the drive-​thru, they are stingy with the sauce even when I order huge family meals). Other than that, pretty good.

I’m not sure why this Popeyes has such bad reviews. I’ve been coming here for years, especially more recently since I live close by. And I’ve always had great service, fresh food and a clean restaurant.
Their mild chicken is my favorite go to. Their mashed potatoes, green beans and biscuits are delicious! I have yet to try something bad here. I honestly prefer their chicken to KFC and Chick Fil A. And I’m a pretty big food snob :)

I love Popeyes, from the shrimp to the mash potatoes. Unfortunately this location was just aweful. The mashed potatoes were more like soup the biscuits were undercooked and the shrimp was really dried out like it had been sitting in the warmer for too long. It’s really sad because Popeyes nails it the majority of the time, I think it was just this location. The experience did not shy me away from Popeyes at all I will just eat at another location when I’m craving some good fried southern food

Drive thru review:
Based on the franchise you know what you get when you go to a fast food chain. The flavors and consistency is what I judge it on and the cleanliness of the location and most of all the staff. Unfortunately I can only base this review on the drive thru experience I had when I was in town. I came here and had a large order with a few sides to take back to my hotel room. The person on the intercom greeted us properly and took our order nicely. Once we got to the window the person gave us our order, offered us extra napkins and any sauces. We gladly took a few and checked our order and everything was correct and the flavors were exactly what we expected.

gets very packed on Tuesday for there special that they have the wait isnt long even though its packed and the chicken is always fresh especially the spicy breast its also always tender never dry or over cooked there biscuit are like clouds of heaven with there honey there sweet tea is very good never too sweet the staff is very kind and the restrooms are very clean! will be coming back here again very soon and will recommend to all my friends !! :)

The last three times we have ordered the family meal deal we always ask for spicy and this is the third time we haven’t received it. Very disappointing and if we didn’t live all the way across town we’d go back and have it fixed. Also our sides were wrong thos trip. Make sure you verify your order before you leave!

Fast service, nice people but terribly hard chicken tenders. They’re not edible in the least. They were like rocks and they made a knocking sound when hit on the table (I’m serious lol) They also do not give you a full serving of the sides. Half empty containers and it’s a waste of money. Don’t go here.
Update: I spoke with a manager and they didn’t care at all. They’re very rude. Bad customer service and horrible food.

This place is on the expensive side, so if you want to eat here, you should come when they have a deal it is normally for 4.99 and includes a good amount of food, but the food is always good and quick I recommend drive through, but dine in Is a fairly good option.

False advertising on the Shrimp deal for reals. The camera on the commercial must be really close cause those Shrimp are so small and dirty. My family dinner discovered many unclean Shrimp. Black string still attached. Not cool. Louisiana Chicken is better by far.

I went in hear for a Sunday evening treat, and it was horrible. They didn’t have any mild chicken and I had to wait 20 minutes!!! I ordered it to go, they placed all the food on trays, they didn’t have napkins or chicken breast. What kind of chicken establishment runs out of breast on a Sunday??? I’ve been here before and I’ve had better experiences, so I’m hoping this was just a fluke. I won’t be coming back anytime soon.

Terrible service !! I was waiting to get my order for ever with out even getting acknowledge I asked for the special and the lady (older lady maybe manager) just pointed at the sign on top ridiculous… I sent my 9 year old son for a cup of water and was there standing for about 5 minutes waiting for them to even look at him !!! Nothing I had to get up and ask for myself almost screaming excuse me!!! Chicken was not good either looked old and nasty do not cone here! Only good thing was the mashed potatoes!

Love Popeyes. Really, strongly dislike the Hispanic male manager. Not only does he posses the personality of a gnat but his customer service is God awful. One night when we went, his family was there eating and his kid was all over the place. He was running and knocked my 4 year old down. Did he or anyone in the family apologize? Not a chance. This isn’t the only incident with this manager either. He is so negative and grumpy that I can’t imagine him being any type of role model or positive leader to his staff. God bless them. I should still write a letter to corporate because they need to know how their stores are being run.

The food was exactly what you expect for fast food. Nothing phenomenal or horrible just fried food that I love once and a while. Chicken was tasty, crispy and spicy yet I like a little added heat so always request more hot sauce. The red beans and rice were flavorful as expected. They are my favorite.
The few things I did not like about this place is it was cash only and the ATM machine they had on the premises was the sketchiest thing I had ever seen in my life. It looked like one of those old credit card machines with the paper on the outside! Also it was super stuffy and hot the day we chose to go and when we tried turning on a fan it didn’t work.
If I am in Palmdale again I will get my red beans and rice to go and will be prepared with cash ;)
