Sometimes they may take long but your not gonna find fresh Chinese food anywhere else… If you don’t want to wait then go to Panda Express or dragon express and take your chances with food poisoning, since their food sits under heating lamps all day… I’ve gotten food poisoning from both places is the past… So I would much rather wait for my food at Mr. Wok, then have uncontrollable diarrhea from somewhere else… Plus the new girl is extremely nice and sweet… I wish I would have asked her name but I think she is the nicest worker there!!! I’m given Mr. Wok five stars because, I have been going there since the 90’s and I have never gotten sick… And for all you that have complained about this place I think you should see what it’s like to work fast food and what it’s like to work with the public, maybe then you will understand what they go through… I know first hand that it’s not fun getting yelled at by costumers, when the problem wasn’t your fault to begin with… Way to go Mr. Wok!!! You have a loyal customer, that understands what it take to run a business, I will never stray from eating here!!!

I just recently found this place and so far so good. Granted I’ve only had the lo-mein and tofu so far, but it’s nice to know I have found another vegetarian option for myself in Palmdale.

Okay so we ordered delivery from this place. First off, the bag was wet with grease/sauce or whatever but we looked past that because hey, messy food can sometimes mean good food. But then I found a piece of beef in my Kung Pao shrimp. Kung Pao shrimp is not supposed to come with beef. Not to mention, the entrée was mostly celery and onions with maybe like seven shrimp total. As a pescetarian I rarely eat chinese food anyway because of all pork/beef that’s cooked there but to find it in my supposed pescetarian meal was a huge turn off. They also forgot to give us our chow mien, and the fried rice looked super dry like they made it in the microwave or something. So we went up there and asked for a refund because once I found beef where there was supposed to be none, I was very wary of the food as a whole. We hadn’t eaten any of it and didn’t want to anymore. So we go up there and there are flies, theres a big black trash bag full of cans just posted in the dining area, and the place just looks pretty crappy as a whole. I decide most definitely I am not eating there so we ask for a refund and the manager immediately gets a really horrible attitude. He gives us our refund but says that we can never order from Mr Wok again. What the heck? They messed up, not us. But it’s fine because we won’t.

We’ve been ordering take out from Mr Wok for close to 20 years. The food is authentic and deliciously. Especially the paper wrapped chicken. It does take 45 to 50 min. But it worth the wait.

I’ve read the other reviews and I’m really confused. I had to check the address to see if we’re reviewing the same place. When my Mom was alive we used to order delivery from here all the time. I’m not a constant Asian food eater but we do cater our Moms. After she died I hadn’t ordered from there just because I need to be in the mood. Ten years later I was in the mood. I read the reviews and was so disappointed. I decided to take a chance and order from them anyway. Lady who took my order was nice, told me it was going to take an hour(I called at 6pm), and gave me the price. My food was delivered in 45 minutes and everything was great. Veggies were cooked but crunchy, beef in beef with broccoli was tender, shrimp and egg rolls were good, shrimp lo-main, chicken cashew, sweet and sour pork, rice, all was very tasty and we enjoyed it. We ordered again today and it was great. Delivery was within the time period stated, girl who took the order was good. I have no complaints at all. I’m not sure why everyone is so down on them. The only reason why I gave it 4 stars is that I’ve never been inside so I couldn’t comment about the interior.

I don’t know what happened to this establishment but I was highly disappointed with today’s food. The egg rolls were super saturated with oil. The Kung Pao chicken had no chicken at all and very little sauce. Orange chicken sauce had a weird taste and the beef in the beef and broccoli was all fat. Then to top it off you look forward to the fortune cookie and that was stale. I used to love coming here, but won’t be back that’s for sure.

If I could give them a minus one that is the star rating that they would have. We just received what will be inevitably our last order from Mr wok. We ordered ribs they were not delivered we called in not only where we told that we were using a menu that was 2 years old with prices that have gone up in excess of 30 percent but that they don’t carry ribs even though the person taking the order clearly stated that we could have either bone in or no bone. The food there is decent the customer service is deplorable and the language barrier is just too much to deal with at this point Mr wok has gotten their last $$ from my family

My husband and I have just moved to the area. Me Craving Chinese food my husband asked around and was told this was the best place around. Wrong! ! We went in and ordered are food to go. Got home opened our food. And we were missing our side order and one side of my husband’s plate was not what he ordered. My husband called and explained we were just in, the guy then replied what did we want him to do that for us to drive back and pick up what we were missing. Mind you we drove about 10min to get there. REALLY.. My husband didn’t have it he made them bring us what we were missing. This place gets 2 stars the food wasn’t all that great I’ve had better. Very rude and bad customer service.

2 hours and more waiting for my delivery, at this point I am over it and waiting to see what time they show up. After the first time I called to check on my status Alexis answering the phone replied condescendingly«what do you want me to do about it «I am an advocate for the service & rest industry but not for this company. Disrespectful and Distasteful are only of the few words to describe my experience. Oh and she offered a discount the second time around.

I placed an order to be delivered. I gave the girl my order, she repeated my order to me.(It was only four things) When I got my food I saw that they forgot my noodles with shrimp. I called the store and the managers response was that it wasn’t on my order, I wasn’t charged for it, I didn’t get charged the $ 3.00 delivery charge and he didn’t know how long it would take to get the noodles out to me. Talk about horrible customer service! The food I did get wasn’t all that great either. I will never order from Mr. Wok again.

Disgusting! I finally tried this place, and I ended up throwing everything out. The noodles are oily and bland. the chicken taste like shrimp. I actually had eaten shrimp tails in my kung pao!!! So nasty. The beef and broccoli… don’t even wanna talk about it. The beef had a nasty texture and taste. i also ordered hot and sour soup(which is my fav), and it looked like meatball soup from a mexican restaurant!!! lol it had whole mushrooms in it, as well as bell pepper and zuccini!!! what the heck!?! i didnt know i signed up for vegetable soup! tossed! never again! eww!

Years ago when this place opened up in the early 90’s or there about it was amazingly good. I hadn’t been there in years since moving away from the general area where this store is located. It was terrible! no flavor and had a chlorine taste. The place was dirty and outdated. You could hear the employees gabbing in the back and all around it was very unpleasant. Sorry to see a place that once and boundless flavor go down in quality. I will take a wok permanently from this place and find a new Chinese joint to eat at. Don’t waste your money when food tastes funny.

Cons: Very, very over priced for the quality and quantity of the food. Some of the dishes that we tried were in-edible(and I have a VERY accepting pallet– trust me). The Food does not come as advertised(the«Kung pao» beef had zero spice). Delivery took a long time. Our order was wrong. I was completely screwed over in my dish because Half of my meat dish was just celery. Pros: Friendly delivery service. Food was average at best(we tried three different dishes). Their spicy sauce they put on the side was really good. We got really good fortunes in our cookies. I HIGHLY recommend AGAINST coming here. We will not be return customers.

After 1 ½ hour wait for delivery, i called for the second time to threaten canceling. The guy didnt apologize or seem to care. Thats when doorbell rings and i recieve cold, extremely greasy food. The orange chicken has a plain taste. Dosent have an orange taste at all. It is drenched in sauce and had spilled in the bag. I will NEVER order this crap again!

I have driven by many times, on this occasion Mr. Wok just happened to be in between where I was coming from and where I was going so I stopped in for lunch. There was one person waiting and no one in line so after a quick look at the menu behind the counter I decided on the Sweet and Sour Chicken combo for $ 6.95. Drinks are provided out of the cooler on the east wall. I took a seat and waited. Mr. Wok is a Take Out, Delivery, and Dine In place. There is seating for 16 inside at four 4 place tables, the interior was somewhat plain except for a couple of art pieces on the walls, I rather liked the large piece on the west wall that depicted Chinese style dragons. Luckily I wasn’t in a hurry, although this looks like it would be a place to get a quick bite to eat it took 20 minutes for me to receive my order and that was with only one other person waiting, I can’t imagine how long it would take if several people were in there waiting. Well anyway I pick up my order, it was in a Styrofoam container and it felt heavy, I’m thinking it’s packed full of food but when I sat down and open it I found that the majority of that weight is just cabbage, there is a small scoop of rice and a few pieces of chicken. The food itself was just okay at best, there was a lot of dough around small pieces of chicken and one nugget didn’t seem to have any chicken in it at all, it was like eating a sweet & sour donut hole. There are a multitude of Thai and Chinese restaurants in the area where you can get sit down service, faster service, better food and more of it for the same or even lesser price and they usually include soup, egg roll, and a fortune cookie. I can’t recommend Mr. Wok.
