This is a easy hike and starts off northwest of the Charlton Flats Picnic Area entrance road off of the Angeles Crest Highway. This is where you can get to Vetter Mountain and I recommend doing both of them and doing some Peak Bagging. The area was burned badly by the 2009 Station Fire and is recovering slowly. You can aslo do Devils Peak, but the view isn’t the best and lots of burned trees on top of that peak You get some awesome views of Devils Canyon, Mount Waterman, Twin Peaks & Old Baldy. I enjoy this area and glad that some of it is recovering. I can only imagine what it looked like before the fire. Check out my video for this adventure.
