I’ve been to an other I hope before, this I hop is by far the worst I hop I’ve ever been to, I waited about 39 minutes for the food, the toast they brought was super cold. The waitress that attended us «Lizz» forgot to put in our chicken strips in the order when we already asked for them. she was very rude, worst customer service. avoid this place.

Second time here and I still don’t get my French toast. Seems like they are way under staffed and they never bring out the food at right time or just at all got a tiny discount on the food for not getting half my meal. Never got a refill. Avoid this place

Want to get ripped off? Order a «Short Stack» of pancakes. They serve 2. So how did two become a «stack»? And the cost of each pancake in this «stack»? How about a whopping $ 3.10! They want $ 6.19 for 2 pancakes that are so small they are served on a pie plate! Good by, IHOP!

I think this IHOP need to get on it I had bad service since I sat down it took a whole 10 15 min to get are drinks I had to ask someone to get us drinks on top of that and then we had to ask to order are food cuz no one was waiting on us they were blowing us off then we get helped and the girl say that she’s not our waitress let me get your waitress for you then our waitress comes only get to order food after waiting for a half hour no waitresses ever came to check on us after we ordered our food I needed a refill on my coffee that I had to ask for again and also they were nice buy becuz they know they were fucking up so I jus had to write a review for them :) have a nice Sunday yall

The only reason I came here today was because of the veterans special. I am a vet and I do like pancakes. After sitting here for more than 10 minutes without so much as a fuck you I literally had to ASK if the table I was at was in a dead zone without a server because people who were sat AFTER me ORDERED before me and received their food before I was even asked what I wanted to drink. No one’s pancakes are worth putting up with that shit no matter how free they are.

Flora the hostess was great today! She made sure everyone’s orders got out to them instead of the server, Mariana. The food was nicely cooked and served hot thanks to Flora (nice lady in the purple blouse today if I got your name wrong, I’m sorry!).
When I asked for some more hot water for my tea, she brought me an intact teapot instead of the banged up thing without a lid that I got when Mariana brought our drinks.
Gotta love the people who let their 18 month old wander around restaurant and color on the furniture! I’d think someone here would tell them it’s dangerous to let the kid run around in the prep area.

We have been going to the Ihop for years now, but in the last few months, the service has been horrible. Our waitress won’t come to check on us, we have to get up and find her to get refills, or whatever else we are missing. It takes so long to our food. On another occasion, we called to make a phone order to pick up, and they put you on hold for several minutes. When they finally pick up, its only to tell you to hold again.

This ihop is usually pretty on point BUT today it was awful! We waited literally 45−50min for our food and then they kept forgetting stuff. Like they forgot our crepes for one person, pancakes for another person and then another coffee… We were finally all able to eat all together after 1hour! I can understand if it was busy, but it wasn’t… There were no people in line and the place was empty. There was no reason for such a delay. Like I said we never have had a problem… But it was awful! And not to mention that the manager has a sour look on her face… Not nice at all, needless to say I did not leave a tip at all! I don’t care how nice the waitress was the service was poor. The waitress was nice but slow… She is like new or something… I don’t know… I will come back and give this place another chance but still it was bad today! So upset!

Okay in a pinch they have healthy choices but still drown everything in butter. Just be sure to ask for your food to be cooked without butter. They give you a funny look, but who cares. If you like a lot a butter than don’t say anything. The atmosphere is something to be desired; the deco is dated, the carpet is dirty and tables are left with dirty dishes. The service is pretty good but when it gets crowded they seem to panic and it slows down. Don’t come on the weekend if you want to eat within an hour of arriving. Not worth it. All in all, it’s the lesser of 18 fast food evils in Palmdale blvd. Palmdale has a loooong way to go before they can say they have a decent place to eat without getting a clogged artery.

Friendly, even when there are rude annoying customers. I come in here all the time because it’s the closest IHOP to me and not to mention I LOVE their pancakes!!! I’ve never had a problem with their food. Occasionally the waitress will forget to bring the ketchup and hot sauce but that’s not enough to take a star away.
I’ve seen many rude, and inpatient customers go off on the workers, EVEN go into the kitchen to yell at the cooks and they remain professional and calm. I think that it’s more the ghetto customers that make this place seem like it’s not that good but the food and the workers are awesome :)

Service much better here at this one, now I can sit down and enjoy my meal. I was greeted with a smile and pleasantly treated.

I highly recommend not coming to this IHOP and just go to the one on the west side because they sat us immediately but never again came to our table we sat for over 20 Minutes as we watched them seat other guests and serve them and they came no where near us for us to tell them we needed to be serviced we didn’t even get a drink order or anything so we got up and left and as we were leaving they asked us why and they just said oh I’m sorry we didn’t come help you and didn’t even care.

I’ve traveled bunches and ihop is usually the easiest place to stop while traveling, I’ve always expected mediocre service, but that was not the case today! Efrain was one of the best servers I’ve ever had. Super enthusiastic and was quick to help us with every little thing we needed! Whenever I’m back in Palmdale I hope to see him on one of my quick stops for food. Most definitely made me smile!

We order the sampler it was great. The only bad thing was the wait time. but the waitress and manager came to apologize that made my experience better. Our waitress margarita was helpful and she help our party of 11.

This IHOP had really good food and nice staff but wait times are ridiculous and the servers are forced to carry their own change or wait for the manager to open the till which makes paying super slow.

My husband and I are avid fans of ihop. We’ve always had a good experience food wise at most all of the ihops we’ve been to. This one was no different. Food was great!
Now let’s talk about service!
First off, we’d never been to this one. Lived in the AV for 2 years and finally decided to have breakfast there on Saturday morning. That was the BIG mistake. Going to that ihop.
The wait was not that bad. They told us about 20 minutes but we waited about 10. The first issue was when the host went to seat us. He tried to put us at a dirty table. Yes, it had been wiped down but not very well. We pointed out the table was nasty so they put us at the one next to it. We sat and watched in horror and they seated a woman and her young daughter at the table we refused. No one had been by to wipe it down. GROSS! But this new table we sat at was just as bad. Old table? Bad legs? Who knows but that thing rocked every time you put your hands on it. At one point husband put his arm down and my coffee flew everywhere. He even tried to shove sugar packets under it but realized there was more wrong with the table that could not be fixed. We flagged another host as he walked by and said we would not sit here. The table was horrible so they moved us. Prior to moving we had already placed our order as we were in a hurry that morning. We always share a meal because we don’t need to eat like a pair of sumo wrestlers. So we also asked our waiter for an extra plate.
We sat at our new table waiting… and waiting… and waiting. It also had started feeling like a sauna in there. I glanced at the t-​stat which read 75. With all those bodies in there it didn’t need to be that toasty. I could barely breathe. Finally our food came. But of course no extra plate. First ihop EVER that did not bring the extra plate. They also could not find us at first because no one told them we moved. He asked if we needed any ketchup, hot sauce etc… we said yes, and the extra plate. Guess what? None of it ever came. We flagged down the same guy who moved us and told him what we wanted, Otherwise we would have sat there for god knows how long waiting for our extra plate and condiments. They never came but the other guy brought them and apologized. Oh and I forgot to add… a guy sitting near us with his wife and kids had to get up and borrow a set of pancake syrup from another table. Yeah, that’s bad. A pancake house with no syrup on the table and no one asking if you wanted any with your pancakes!!!
Time for the check. How much can you hint we were ready to go. We piled our plates one on top of the other making a huge stack. We sat at the table and waited. Our waiter kept passing by. You could tell he was flustered. He did not seem like «server» material. He just kept flying by. Maybe they don’t have the staff that’s needed to run the restaurant efficiently. They better think about better training. Finally my husband said loudly as he passed us, «if we don’t get the check the next time you come by we are walking out.» and he went by and no check. Husband got up and headed to the front. To the right the server seen him and did warp speed to the front. We were not actually walking out. We were not happy with the service… not criminals. As my husband ranted and raved to the cashier I walked outside to find the guy who had kept helping us where others failed to. His name was Giovanny and why was he washing the door windows? This kid needs a raise and a better position because he as the only one that helped and accommodated us the whole time. I even told him his was the best thing about this ihop.
I will usually give a place another chance but I don’t think that’s ever going to happen. It was just one bad experience! That is enough for me.

This business sucks they couldn’t even get a phone order right I waited a hour for my order to be wrong this place has no customer service at all its ran by a manager who can’t speak English

What a horrible place! No greeting at the door, waited forever for a table, waited over 30 minutes for food then when it arrived it was cold! So disappointed!

This IHOP has got to be a close tie with BWW for the poorest service ever! One drink in 30 minutes is ridiculous. The waitress has even made eye contact with me and my cups numerous times. Didn’t even get a refill when she dropped off the condiments, dropped off the food, took the order to the three tables around us. If not for the manager walking in I doubt I would have gotten a single refill.
Also why even bother dropping off a completely empty bottle of ketchup. Your creating more work for yourself that you probably aren’t going to do.
The food was cold, probably because the waitress forgot what our food was. French toast was colder than the strawberries on top. Sad. The strawberry banana pancakes were missing a key ingredient.. . The bananas. Seriously.
Maybe there should be a table waiting school. The staff from this place could really benefit. Now to just wait for the check.. . I’m sure I’ll only sit here another 30 to 50 minutes.
