I love this place! I was so happy to see the fall choices starting to come out. I’m excited to go back and get some more candles. It’s almost that time of year! I got a new massage oil. I’m ready to try it on some of my clients!

I shop at Bath & Body Works probably a couple of times a month. I must admit I have a bit of an addiction but it’s definitely worse around the holidays when they have their best sales. I have most likely spent a couple hundred dollars this year alone. So obviously it absolutely pains me to be leaving a one star review but what I experienced yesterday at this location was appalling. I have read stories on Facebook of customers being treated poorly(one was accused of using a counterfeit coupon… I can’t even) and I always gave BBW the benefit of the doubt. However, I’m starting to understand what these customers are talking about. There is currently a coupon going around on Facebook for a free full sized«A Thousand Wishes» body care item up to $ 14 with any purchase. The fine print states, «one per customer per day» and I make it a point to always abide by the fine print. I’ve been to the mall multiple times within the last week christmas shopping so I used this coupon on 12⁄15 and since I was at the mall again on 12/16, I decided to use it once more. I waited in line for about 10 minutes and was called upon by a cashier who, according to the manager, is named Lacy. I gave her my items and informed her I had a coupon. She immediately copped an attitude and began throwing accusations at me very loudly. She insisted that she saw me there earlier. I asked what she meant and informed her that I have been there multiple times, purchased a lot of merchandise, but that I had not been there earlier that day at all. She stared me down and continued to insist that I had already been there(insinuating I was trying to rip them off) proceeded to roll her eyes and continued on with the transaction. With my jaw dropped to the floor, I looked around the store and noticed all eyes were on me because Lacy decided to make a huge, obnoxious scene. My father was in line to make a purchase as well but I told him we were just going to leave because I was so shocked and embarrassed by her behavior. I planned to call corporate as soon as I got home but didn’t have her name so my father returned to the store and decided to speak with the manager about the situation. All she had to say was, «I’m sorry, I will speak to her about that.» Not very comforting. Corporate on the other hand apologized profusely and explained that this never should have happened and that I should be able to use coupons without being harassed by employees in the process. I have filed an official report about this incident and will be receiving a response within the next couple of days. All I have to say is that I am very disappointed in this location for standing by and allowing this type of behavior from an employee.

I like Bath and Body Works and I like the selection at this location. However, I really don’t like the staff’s over selling tactics. As soon as you walk in they bombard you with all the deals and special new items that they are offering. They insist that you use a blug B&B bag to shop and then watch you like a hawk as if you are going to shop lift everything that you try or look at. All of their items are also overpriced. For a small hand lotion tube it costs $ 5.00, For six soaps it costs $ 26. The only way to buy anything in this store is to buy in bulk to knock off a few dollars, and the only thing that I use that frequently are their hand soaps. All of their scents start to run together tangy, fruity, flowery. I only go here occasionally because I get overdone on all the scents and because of the dent it makes in my wallet.

I’ll admit that I’m embarrassed to shop here. While I don’t do it often, I still feel like everyone is staring at me while I shop here haha A friend of mine had this amazing eucalyptus mint hand soap and the memory hit me when I saw the store. I decided to head in and see if I could find it, and I did. they had the foamy soap, the scrubby soap, and the hand sanitizer. I bought one of each and for $ 20, I walked out with another scrubby and foamy soap and a second foamy soap in another scent. The girl who helped me was friendly and great. I’ll definitely be back when I need more soap, though I don’t see that being for a while now.

The store was a bustlin’ happenin’ place last Saturday! There was a special event — an exclusive release of a new scent(Charming or something like that) with a $ 15 purchase. You got a cute pink makeup bag along with a full-sized lotion! Talk about steal! I loved it… it smells amazing. It gets release in September/October so look forward to that! Also — they were having a poll for the next new scent — you got to smell 3, and vote the one you liked the most. Hubby and I had tons of fun with that. B&BW… always great. I get my lotions here ALLTHETIME!
