After reading the many positive reviews, I went in expecting a great meal. This place did not measure up at all. My first concern was the completely empty restaurant at 6PM on a Saturday night. All of the other restaurants we passed by were very busy, with full patios. It was a pleasantly warm evening with alot of people walking about so I found it odd that there was not one single customer in the place, or even sitting outside. I can only assume now that others knew what I didn’t. Food: We ordered the usual Pad Thai w/chicken and Panang Curry. Pad Thai was bland and the chicken was so tough I could not cut it with my fork, which was the only utinsil provided. The dish was so flavorless that I had to drizzle some of hubby’s Panang sauce over the whole thing just to give it some flavor. Most PT I’ve had usually has a hint of some type of peanut or tamarind sauce and come with shredded carrots, green onion, bean sprouts, and crushed peanuts. This dish came with bean sprouts, bean pods, and fried scallions, which the flavor and texture did not work for me at all. Strange combo and lacking flavor. One star for the decent portion size. My husband’s Panang Curry was, in his words, not terrible… better than adequate but not worth $ 12 and was only half the portion size most other restaurants serve. I agree. It had that familiar coconut-curry flavor but was not close to the quality we have had elsewhere. One star because it was better than the PT but hardly a dinner — sized portion. Service: Pleasant hostess and server. Kept glasses of water filled but nothing memorable. One star. Had we not been pressed for time, I would have asked for a different dish but, unfortunately, it was not an option.

The chow mien and Thai Noodle soup were delicious! The egg rolls were also really good! And the service was great especially considering we just walked in on a busy Valentine’s Day. Overall it was a great experience and great food at a good price!

Unfortunately I had a pretty bad experience and the service did not help. My husband and I ordered the pad thai with shrimp and we smelled a pretty strong ammonia scent in the plate. We politely told the waiter and asked for an alternative dish. The waiter took almost a half hour to come back to tell us he can get us another plate however we have to pay full price for the dish he took away to the kitchen. They owner then came out to tell us that she does not buy bad seafood. I told her that these things happen and it does not mean I am criticizing her restaurant if I happen to get one bad shrimp. It’s not worth taking a chance and getting food poisoned. I politely asked if I could exchange it for another(non seafood) dish. Well, she decided to continue arguing and refuse to refund the plate that we did not eat and that was taken by the waiter. The way we were treated and the amount of time she spent arguing with us made our night out for a horrible experience. We are never returning here again.

Way better than Thai Smile. Small and very welcoming staff. Service is quick and taste amazing. Definitely recommend if you are looking for something not so main stream in the desert

Peaceful environment, friendly service. Tables a little too close to each other for my comfort to where you can hear each other’s conversation. The good was presented well and timely fashion. The signature pad Thai was well seasoned and very filling.

I must be jaded, living in LA. This was the worst Thai food I’ve ever had, and Ive had lots! Bland, poor presentation and the service was obnoxious. Why? Just because youre on the main drag in PS? Please, I’ll drive further and be fed well instead.

Customer service was very disturbing. I would give them 0 if I could. The servers were rude and management was a joke. Food was ok, nothing special. Outside it says: Authentic thai food. Yeah right. I know thai food and that was not even close. Not alot to chose from either. Too Basic. We asked if we could add seafood to the tom kha soup and rudely the server said no and gives us a bad attitude and a mean look, like she was offended for us even asking the question. The one who took our plates was the same. Straight face, no smile, no acknowledgement that we were even at the table. Jeez. They were young, like still in high school young. I have seen people who were still in highschool at other places of employment, who do a fine job at their work. These gals were sheer uprofessional. Service is no way their strong suit. The joke of a manager herself took the chili with vinegar we were still using and said: «I need to use it for my food and I will bring it back.» Never saw it again. Shouldn’t she be working rather than eating during busy dinner service time? Especially on a weekend. Did I miss something here?

This is our second time eating at Thai house and not disappointed once again. The freshness and the flavor as well as the spice really are so delicious.

Don’t bother. With so many good Thai places to choose from, pick another. Unless you want bad service, cold food, and a snotty waitstaff, that is.

So bummed… We ordered take out from Thai House tonight. Our favorite is Tom Yum soup(with shrimp-FYI great cold/sick remedy). Usual favors are spicy, lemony/tangy, full of flavors. This one-not so good. no tangy flavor or spice at all. Very disappointed. Also ordered: * eggplant with chicken-just ok, bland(another usual fave) * pad Thai-ok, sightly greasy noodle and dry at the same time * crab Rangoon-called something else-not good at all-kind of tastes like old wonton * beef salad-not good, beef seemed boiled not stir fired, salad had not a stitch of seasoning, was just romaine lettuce with red onion slivers. This salad again usually is sweet, tangy and spicy. Was really craving Thai, didn’t get any Thai spice flavors at all.

Do Not Go Here! We waited an hour for our food and I literally had to go in the kitchen myself to get our plates and silverware. The servers were completely unapologetic for the wait and they tried to charge us for a dish they never brought with our order. Worst service ever.

Bad service here. I was quoted 20min for a Togo order. When I arrived 50min later they gave the order to the kitchen to start cooking it. I waited another 15min to cook the food. When I paid I received incorrect change. NOTAUTHENTIC Thai food. The Pad Thai was flavorless and bland. The spicy beef salad was ok, but the beef was sub par. Service is 1 star & food is possibly 2 stars. Would not return.

This place is very cute! I preferred to sit inside since it is summer time! Please beware they don’t mess around this their spicy level!!! I can take spicy but their scale is 1 – 4 and I got a 2 and my mouth was burning!!! Next time I will get a 1 :) Their spring rolls were very tasty as well! You get two dipping sauces with it as well! Overall it was a great place for dinner. Their noodle dishes are really yummy! I got the pad see ew as usual!

Still at this place and I couldn’t wait to write about how amazing it is! The food is DELICIOUS. Seriously, it’s fantastic. Eat here. The staff is very very friendly and accommodating. I wanted Chinese food initially, but this place had great reviews and had chow mein, which is what I was craving, so we gave it a try. Normally chow mein at other Asian restaurants is rather bland, but I took a chance. It was AMAZING. There was so much flavor. I ate the entire dish. Everyone at the table was raving about their own dishes and trying everyone else’s too. Soup bowls were drained, crumbs were licked, there were no leftovers to take. It was so amazing. I don’t review a lot but you should definitely give this place a try. It will be your new go to restaurant. We asked why the food was so good: Thai chefs that spend a lot of time in Thailand. The saddest part of the meal was being too full to order more. Magnificent meal!

Excellent dinner! The restaurant looks pretty low-key from the street, especially next to the bigger joints on Palm Canyon. But often, those are the best places I went simple and ordered the Pad Thai. It was delicious. Service was outstanding. The super nice lady who seems to run it is a doll.

Dined here for Valentines Day after the Tour de Palm Springs Bike Race and Ride. They decorated for Val Day. Small and nice family run Thai Restaurant right in the middle of all the Palm Desert action. You can tell that they really want to succeed here long term. Staff was friendly and service was fast. Food was very good tasting. Chicken with veggies(13) had fresh veggies and delicious chicken with No aftertaste. Very good light healthy sauce. Brown rice was extra(2). Portion size is on the smaller end – I could have ate 30% more. But that is a good sign – I liked the food here.

Quick dinner last night. Wonderful outdoor patio seating. Nice cool evening — village fest going on. Happy to find a place we could sit and enjoy for a bit. Had the Tom Kha Gai coconut chicken soup. A bit different that I was accustomed to — but — not in a bad way. A little more onion than usual, didn’t get a lemon grass feel — but my experience is this is kind of like potato salad… everyone’s mom does it a little bit different. Very enjoyable dish. I had the spicy basil stir fry with chicken. Medium heat. FANTASTIC. Dining companion had the Panang Curry. His was very good as well. Service was great, cleanliness as well was top notch. It’s a keeper. Second visit … ordered the Pad Thai … not impressed — it was ok, but not as good as one would expect with this traditional entrée. Dropped from a 4 to 3 star experience.
