Silica Studios

I am a potter and I throw my pottery at home. I have been taking my pieces to Silica Studios for about five years now for the firings and glazing. I cannot say enough good things about Silica Studios. Dona, Daric, and Tim are wonderful and have created the most amazing environment for potters and sculptors to come and work together, share ideas, and form friendships. The studio is always very clean and organized and is very spacious, allowing for ample working space for throwing on the wheel, sculpting, and glazing. I cannot afford a gas kiln of my own, and frankly, would be afraid to operate one at home even if I could. I don’t know what I would have done had I not found Silica Studios! Thank you Dona, Daric, and Tim, for all that you do for the local artists!

Silica Studios is a fantastic ceramics studio and gallery in Palm Springs. I’ve been to a few of their holiday sales, and the pottery for sale is AMAZING!!! They make everything right on site. They also offer pottery classes and monthly memberships.
Definitely worth visiting if you’d like to find some hand-​crafted ceramics or artwork. Prices are very reasonable and the people who work there are great.
