FOODPOISONING! We’re staying in town for the season and decided to give this place a try. We probably should have realized this place was a fail after they didn’t answer either of their numbers on their delivery menu. We ordered our pizza and it ended up being this thin, mostly just cheesy, soggy mess! Now we also have food poisoning. This place has to be a front or something because no pizza place should suck this bad.

Food was disgusting. Order was prepared wrong, but that was the least if my worries. I ordered two sandwiches and fries.

I’ve always loved this location. Usually for in for take it. Just got a sandwich and salad today. Everything was good, made quickly and the cashier was nice. I haven’t been here in a while. I see there are a few bad reviews. He did wash his hands after handling my credit card and before making my food. I believe they care about customers her & the rockys special pizza here is one of my hubby’s favs! I wish I lived closer. We moved and they can’t deliver to us anymore :(

This is the worst pizza I have ever eaten. I think Dominos is actually better. It’s unfortunate they deliver because that’s the only reason why we got it. Next time I’ll get out and pick it up. I don’t know how anyone could think this pizza is eat-able. Way too much cheese blobbed on not even melted and very little tomato sauce.

Poor excuse for food. The prices are ridiculous and the food was mediocre at best. We sat in and ate, ordered an antipasto salda, a cheese pizza and a meatball sub. The antipasto was on a Styrofoam plate, with barely anything on it at the price of $ 7, the cheese pizza and meatball sub had absolutely no seasoning or flavor. If you seriously think this is good food, you must not have taste buds. Paid almost $ 30 for our entire meal, with a 2 litre coke included. Never coming back here again. The only good thing was the semi service we got. At least they were nice. Eh. Sad.

We found this place because of Unilocal :). We recently got a house in Palm Springs and we are very particular about our pizza. We ordered a large sausage and mushroom to be picked up(just 5 minutes form our new house) and it was delicious! LOVE the crust and they are very generous with the mozzarella. I love anchovies but hubby does not so have to get them on the side but they always provide me with plenty. Thanks for a great pizza pie in the desert!

Amazing food with the BESTSERVICE! I have not been to a better pizza place in all of California. I’m originally from New York so my pizza standards are pretty high; once I tasted the pizza it was like I was back home. They have great deals and specials which is amazing. Outstanding customer service skills has me a returning customer even though I have to travel to get it. Definitely THE place to go!

I called just to ask if they delivered pizza and the man that answered had such a thick accent I asked him to repeat what he said to which I recieved a VERY rude, «We’re closed, goodbye.» And he hung up. So thanks but no thanks, first impressions mean a lot.

My son and I decided to try out our local pizza place. We didn’t phone ahead and ordered a large pizza with one item and some wings. We sat down to wait 25 minutes for them to prepare the pizza. As we were sitting we noticed a sign stating their special which was exactly what we ordered and it included a liter of soda for $ 21. We paid $ 21 as well so when we were given our food I asked for the liter of soda. The gentleman was adamant that we didn’t order the special and that we didn’t pay tax so we didn’t qualify. We were the only people there at lunchtime and I saw cases of soda in the back. You can’t give a customer what they are owed and be nice about it? Btw, pizza was mediocre and greasy. Not going back.

We ordered a Caesar salad and Rocky’s special pizza, a nine topping mix. The Caesar was no Caesar. It was ranch dressing, croutons, mozzarella cheese, tomatoes, hot peppers, and romaine lettuce. Not really all that tasty when you order a Caesar. The pizza was okay, just really heavy on the oregano in the sauce. The delivery took an hour. If I could do it again, I would go somewhere else.

Visited Palm Springs was staying at the riviera nearby when we decided to order pizza for dinner. After looking at Unilocal we decided to order rockys. We called in our order and got two large cheese pizzas and one large pepperoni. The food took a long time about an hour and half. When the driver arrived he told us the amount owed, we paid him and he left. When we opened the pizzas they were a mess as if they had been dropped. We also noticed they brought two cheese and one speciality(we didn’t order the specialty). I ran out to get the driver, he called rockys and the guy at the pizza place, said he would be back with a cheese took our specialty pizza(he was rude and didn’t seem happy about it). About an hour later he came back with a warm cheese and this one wasn’t dropped — so we wanted to exchange one of the pizzas we didn’t want for the fresh one. The driver put the worker/manager on the phone from Rockys who then yelled at us telling us we had to pay for it and that it was our fault we ordered the wrong pizza. He went on to tell us that we were horrible people… This was by far the worse pizza experience I have ever had. The pizza was cold and a complete mess by the time they got to us. DONOTEATATROCKYS! Worst pizza and customer service ever.

Good pizza usually. Incredibly slow delivery times. Hour to 2 hours very typical. Incredibly rude owner/order taker. Used to love this place but new owner is awful. Update: pizza just arrived after1.5 hours. Quoted 1 hour. It was burnt.

The food is pretty good, but we’ve gotten burned a couple times now with the terrible service. I don’t understand their business model but every order seems to take five times as long as it should. I hope they get a better cooking plan together, just don’t go hungry. It’s gonna be a while.

stayed at a local hotel here in Ps and ordered delivery. THE man who answered phone and took the order had a heavy accent and could barely underst him. we had a large pepperoni pizza it was ok. I also ordered the chicken parmesan. the chicken tasted over cooked. they didnt put a fork in the bag. the garlic bread tasted like just butter. no receipt in the bag either.

This is the third time we ordered delivery with Rocky’s. There have been some problems, but there aren’t many delivery options in North Palm Springs. Delivery always takes at least an hour. Last weekend it was about two hours; we were quoted and hour. Still, the food arrived hot. I like the pizza, but I love my pizza greasy and fat. Al R. below perfectly describes it(the same applies to the meat pizzas.) Be careful where you put the box as the grease soaks through. I hold my slice over the sink to let some of the grease drain off. A bib is recommended. It sure is good going down, but digestion takes longer than the delivery. Don’t plan on going out or snuggling with your luvah after consuming. My dog won’t even sleep in my room. As I’ve said, I still like the pizza. I got up and had the last 3 pieces for breakfast. Rough day! We also got the spaghetti/meatballs/garlic bread. The spaghetti was soggy, the meatballs and sauce were ok, and the garlic bread was dry and tasteless. The salads were good. I know that’s a lot of negatives for a 3 star review, but the pizza is worth trying if you like fatty goodness. Just get carry out on a weekday.

Quite literally the worst pizza I have ever had in my entire life. Maybe it’s because I ordered a vegetarian pizza. It’s possible their meat pizzas are as awesome as everyone seems to think they are. It’s also possible that my sphincter will open up and blue monkeys will come flying out of my colon in search of Dorothy… And her little dog too! Every slice, EVERY slice, was stuck to the box. It was a greasy mound of cheese and… vegetables? clumped into a wafer thin piece of wax paper that may have once been dough. I was lucky to get ¼ of one slice out of the box WITH toppings. The rest of it just kind of laid there like a last place finisher in the pizza paralympic marathon. Again, meat pizzas may be what all the hype was about. The reviews were what took me there in the first place. Veggie pizza. Terrible.

I have been a resident of Palm Springs for 42 years, and I love local businesses. For ½ of those years I have been a customer of Rocky’s Pizza. During that period of time he has moved at least 3 times, the last one, almost within walking distance of my home for the past 8 years. Without any exaggeration I have in the not too distant past eaten there at least twice a week, sometimes more, sometimes more than one meal a day even for almost a decade. The food use to be much better. The original owner and his wife made a damn good pizza. It was consistently the same time after time for years. Several years ago the couple retired and moved back to Sri Lanka(spelling, sorry), and I believe one of his children took over the business. That is about the time when both the service, that had been always good or decent, got much worse, and also the food itself was not always the same… sometimes it was terribly greasy, sometimes too much cheese, sometimes you just couldn’t pick it up because of the grease. More importantly though, as much as it horrified me, I would say nothing while it happened which is my fault, but I noticed that the maker of the pizza was also sometimes the handler of the money and everything else. As the pizza making station is right there in the open to see I just couldn’t help but notice that he NEVEREVER washed his hands after handling money, one of the most filthiest things you can touch. Anyway, from 2 times a week, it became twice a month, and now I have to be really hungry to eat there, and I won’t at all if the person mentioned above is there, doing his thing of preparing food and handling money… If health is an issue for you, I’d not go there. I deem it a health risk and hazard, regardless of the quality or how long it takes to get your food.

Sat down for two slices last night. Two slices and a soda for 4 bucks — well, you get what you pay for. Pizza came and it was dripping in grease. Crust was soggy, like a wet paper towel. Must have been a pound of cheese on those two slices. Cashier saw I was struggling and came over with plastic forks an knives. Thirty minutes later was suffering through indigestion and bouts of nausea. STAYAWAY. Two stars because the cashier was polite and friendly.
