This contractor was given my residential appraisal by United States Appraisals. I paid $ 450 for an appraisal. The appraiser low balled my appraisal saying the $ 30,000 in upgrades and view lot did not ad value to my home. The appraiser told me that if I listed my home for the amount he appraised it for, he would buy it himself. This appraiser is not appraising homes at their true value. He said the home loan companies want appraisals low, so if they need to take back the property on a foreclosure, they can turn around and sell the property within 60 days. This appraiser needs a reality check. when I confronted my home loan company, they denied the allegation. Do not waste your money. If you have an appraisal in the Coachella Valley, tell your home loan company not to let this guy conduct your appraisal. This is your money being spent and you deserve a fair market appraisal. You will not get fair appraisal here.
