The music selection runs between sad, sappy 70’s songs and songs that would be played at a WASP-y wedding reception. And the only wine by the glass is red or white from a tap. For this area of Palm Springs, I expect better.

Had a light lunch here at the bar, it’s a restaurant next to the pool at Hyatt place, modern with bright colors, I liked it. Had a Goose vodka Moscow mule, it was strong and tasty. I noticed the menu is very healthy, most items are organic, that’s awesome. I had roasted vegetable skillet, it was so delicious, very fresh and flavorful veggies, although it was vegetarian but still surprisingly comforting. Hubby had organic steak quesadilla, the salsa was bomb, he liked the quesadilla a lot. Food was so good, service was so friendly, a good choice of lunch spot in downtown Palm Springs!

Came here one night while walking down the main road looking for some cool bars. This one didn’t seem too crowded so we decided to stop by and check it out. I ordered a Moscow Mule that was actually more like a slushie. I now make my MM’s like this and they’re a hit. I have the copper mug and all! The waitress/bartender lady seemed pretty cool but the only thing on TV was the aftermath of that very sad Pacquio/Mayweather fight. My drink came out to $ 13 which was pretty ridiculous so I probably won’t be returning. A+ for effort in leaving the misters on at night. Felt nice to just sit back and relax for our last night in Palm Springs.

Drinks and appetizers upon arriving at the Hyatt. Great service, gorgeous outdoor bar right on the strip. Happy hour prices were amazing. Two drinks and two apps for $ 21.00. The apps were delicious. Meze plate with hummus, olives and pita — delicious. Sashimi on crispy rice — nice quality sashimi. Rice — wish there had been more.

We stayed at the Hyatt and decided to check out the restaurant downstairs… bad call. The place was understaffed and our server seemed flustered. We ordered a pizza, gazpacho, a tri tip appetizer, fried goat cheese, and margaritas The tri tip was delicious with a tiny amount of chimichiurri sauce everything else was terrible and super bland. The pizza was greasy, the gazpacho tasted like a bowl of ketchup, the drinks were horrible super sweet like a glass of syrup. Our bill was close to $ 100 and I don’t mind paying that much for good food but this was a joke.

Went there for LUNCH on a week day. For one thing, the valet parking was $ 16! Later we found out you can have your ticket validated and it then is $ 8, but no one mentioned this until we were at the car ready to leave. My friend couldn’t find our waiter again, so we went to the front desk and they denied knowing about any validation. So he went back to the restaurant and some one there validated the ticket. Good grief. This is supposed to be a top hotel? What happened to customer service? Now for the restaurant. The place was totally empty(for a good reason, I think), but very nice atmosphere, and the outdoor area was beautiful. The menu had various salads, pizzas and sandwiches and some pasta dishes. The wine list was good. We shared a salad and a pizza. The salad took forever to come, and it was mostly a large bowl of spinach with a room temperature piece of chicken and some bacon pieces and a few pecans. There was also a deep fried cake of cheese(the only good thing about the salad). On the side was a plastic cup with about 2 tablespoons of Italian dressing. We had to ask for another one. If we ate the whole thing, it would have taken about 4 of those, it was so dry., however, it was so tasteless we just picked around in it and left most of it. The pizza had pineapple and some pear slices and a very thin crust. Very dry and tasteless. We left about a third of that. Our waiter was a nice guy, very helpful. He can’t help working in a deserted place with tasteless food. Eat someplace else. Palm Springs had a lot of little lunch places.

Great place to listen to music, have a cocktail outside and enjoy the sites. My husband and I stayed at the Hyatt which is right next to it, love the fact that we were able to drink and walk back to our room.

Palm Springs have become me and my wife’s get away from the kids location spot lol. Only 45 minutes from home. We like it because it still feels like we are on vacation far away from home. We decided to stay at the Hyatt near the strip. Awesome place to stay because it is right on the strip and we didn’t have to take the car very often to explore. The hotel has its own bar called the HooDoo(they have 2 version HooDoo In and HooDoo out. or something like that) We went to the HooDoo outdoors version so we could get some fresh air. This place is usually crowded during the summer and weekend. If you ever been to Vegas you will recognize the layout because it is very similar to how they have their outdoor bars. We stayed for happy hour 5pm –7pm. Drinks that apply are $ 3.00 The fried shrimp was good. It was really crispy and the coating seemed more like a fried cotton candy like texture. hard to really explain it. The Rancho Nachos are delicious pulled pork and the salsa are distinctive to the dish. The calamari cocktail sauce is thicker then you may be used to however it has a fresh taste to it. Also try the Skinny Margarita not for the lower calories which doesn’t hurt but it is made with honey and other natural ingredients. After the sun went down a guy got up singing Bob Marley and Tom Petty songs. We are told that they usually have live music on Friday and Saturdays. This was Wednesday so I guess we got lucky. He wasn’t bad. A nice experience for our short 2 day trip to Palm Springs. The hotel is impressive too. I think together it warrants a 5 star! If you are there you have to try it out.

Love the place. Great food, great service, great location! Live entertainment is a plus. Try the nachos — great starter! Great bar, right on the street! You need to choose whether to watch the entertainers or watch the people! You have two great options in this street side bar!
