I was so happy. Finally a donut shop in Palm Desert. I go to the Swiss Donut this morning to get donuts for the office. I’m looking at the prices and see nothing about how much a dozen is… hmmm. I ask the person at the counter and she says it depends. Depends? She says «If I pick the donuts, a dozen is $ 12.95.» Uhhh… WHAT? First of all, if YOU pick the donuts? And wow. $ 12.95? Then she says «If YOU pick the donuts, it depends on each donut you pick how much it will end up being». Donut bubble burst. Thank God Panera was a stone’s throw away… and cheaper… and pretty damn yummy. $ 12.95…they must’ve lost their minds. And I pick my own donuts, thank you very much.

I’ve been here a couple times now and it’s probably the biggest donut shop I’ve ever been in! Although the variety isn’t very good sometimes, there’s plenty of booth seating and friendly staff. They brew coffee fairly often and their blended drinks are reasonably priced.

Always friendly staff and you can’t go wrong with freshly baked donuts! Their donuts are huge compared to most and delicious. Try their ham and cheese breakfast sandwich it’s good.
