My Desert Realty Palm Desert

Don’t know where to begin to inform people…
I found a property listed with the name Caldwell Banker.
I phoned. Was told to look online for My Desert Realty.
So, I looked online, and phoned. It was an answering machine.
Someone phoned me back.
The property was a cash sale only. No mortgage due to all the cracks everywhere.
He was yelling at me on the phone. Against better judgement, and likely in desperation of finding a humble abode… I still made an appointment.
Back and forth gave us 4 or so hours of driving.
We arrived for the appointment, and no one was there. We waited over 30 minutes.
We phoned to leave a message again. No call back.
We drove to their office.
I was politely greeted with «Ola!»
This is USA…
It would be so nice if English was respected as being the primary language…
Someone came to show us the property. He was unable to unlock the door.
We had tools and helped him unjam the lock.
The house was quite cracked everywhere,
and there already was an offer on it apparently.
I asked why we were never told that before this long costly ride…
We were asked how much we’d offer.
We did not offer a cent. This is an odd nonsensical unfair gimmick…
He brought us to see a 2^nd, higher priced home.
He was unable to unlock the door,
but tried the other door which, had somehow been left unlocked.
Ethics, professionalism, respect, integrity, honesty… Just meaningless words.
Buying a house has become a Twilight Zone episode with gimmicks.
Today was a shocker and a turn off…
When Buyers are told that «there is an offer»,” it is pending”…
It is intended to make numerous people outbid each other.
Don’t play this greedy game. Just look elsewhere.
