This place is terrible. The management is rude. I was out looking for an apartment and everything was going well until I went here. The two ladies at the office were so rude. Completely ignored me until I forced them to make eye contact!!!

I moved in in June 2012 I had 13 days to find a place(my home closed escrow when i was in the middle of vacation) and it was one of th nicer ones in my price range with space available. I hate moving and I have a small child so I moved in. I had: The upstairs neighbor pipes leaking through my cielings the maintenance manager stated it was fixed and was in tehir bathroom(um no), next day leaking worse, day after was pouring like a jungle. I called and Roscindo and the maintenance manager couldnt find the issue. My carpet was soaked from the dining area into the entry way. My son is an asthmatic so mold was a HUGE concern. I moved in and only 3 lighbulbs worked, there was a filthy AC vent a hole into my storage space trash on the patio and I got to replace and clean it all because i called daily and maintence never showed up. I wrote letters so I have copies of them all they still didnt care. I had issues with toilets overflowing the cover over the drain to the shower wasnt secured despite multiple requests for 6 months, the drain to the bathub didnt work so we had to improvise so my child could bathe. To top it off I ended up doing all my own pest control myself for the entire lease contract as tehir pest control NEVER showed up. I had a mentally unstable neighbor to the left of me who would go off her medications and then threaten myself and my son and management did nothing. Someone tried breaking into my sons bedroom window 4 months into us living there and my Service Dog was the only reason they left. Tehy never repaired the screen. The screen doors to outside were damagaed when i moved in they never replaced them. Additionally, they allowed 7 College of the Desert Vollyball players to move into a 2bd 2 bath upstairs above me and constantly were patying. management did nothing. They kept my son up kept up all of our neighbors. There is a bit you can do when you have a school contract and neighbors are that awful. I had people parking in my space who lived there and who knew they needed to park in their own space and management wouldnt make them move. Police were always there, children left unattended, breakins, not safe at night, Serna Security doesnt even like going out there because its«Risky» and reccomends you just dial 911. They are advertised as a gated community. I lived there 2 years gates NEVER once Shut! Playground equiptment is rotting and dangerous with splinters and loose bolts. Pool safety bar for the disabled is never secured. There is complete lack of communication from the office and Roscindo even came to my apartment at 9:00pm banging on my door reguarding rrent that had already been paid. It trerrified myself and woke my child. It was beyond creepy as I was home everyday after 5pm. It was pitch dark out when he showed up and I filed a complaint with management. When my lease was up I ended up moving back into a home. I have AIM Rental Properties. They are AMAZING! They fix everything, they are kind, they jump right on any issue, and they have other rental places they work with for COachella Valley Apartments and Homes for rent. They accept Section 8 for those who have it. Dont bother wasting your time in an apartment where your afraid for your childs safety especially since when you move in they play it up like its a great place to live and once your in your just a paycheck. Its literally borderline slumlording!
