We have eaten here a few times but I decided to check on what others think so I checked Unilocal.Of course there are those that were not happy but that is not the case for my wife and I tonight. Her favorite dish is Chicken Fried Rice and it lived up to her expectations. Chicken was very tender and the rice had a good flavor. Of course I had to try some and I have to say it was some of the best I had. I ordered the Triple Delight Pot and I can assure you I will order it again. It to had a great deal of flavor and the presentation in that sizzling pot was pretty cool. Our server checked on us regularly filling our water glasses and making sure we were satisfied with the meal. We will go back.

We love this place. Friday night take out almost every weekend. Spicy tempura veggies are the best! We also enjoy the hot and sour soup, Kung pao chicken and beef with broccoli.

My Dad and I love coming here and to Canton Bistro. Amazing food, service is always great and every order is prepared for you, the guest. Everything is FRESH. We’ve never had anything bad at either location. Mongolian Beef, Shrimp Firecracker or Dynamite is unique and highly flavorful. Presentation is also great especially on the Pineapple and Lettuce Wrap dishes. Even the water is delicious as they add mint and citrus. Lynn and her staff are attentive and welcoming. We always feel at home! Sharon O.

Walked into this restaurant, was able to see all the Mexican cooks and non-Chinese waiters/waitress. After reviewing the menu and seeing the dishes people are eating, we decided to change to another restaurant. I guess this is a ok American Chinese food place. But if you are Chinese who are looking for authentic Chinese food, this definitely not the place.

Grabbed some take out. The sweet and sour chicken was soggy, and I don’t think I had one bite without skin and fat. The Lo mien was on the greasy side. Husband’s chicken dish(can’t remember the name) was not that great. We don’t usually eat Chinese takeout, and we are on the picky side.

This place is my Go To for business lunches… always busy and I always end up eating more than I want to! Food is good… we always order the fried chicken wings, perfectly cooked, then the house chow mein… YUM…Then I get the orange beef which is just the right amount of citrus and spice. Service. always good.

We are snowbirds with big mouths. We have eaten here a number of times and the quality is dropping. since when do you get dark chicken with sweet and sour chicken. we’ve always gotten white chicken at our favorite Chinese restaurants at our permanent home. Sorry folks. you’ve had your chance. no longer coming to this place! We’re used to crispy battered white chicken with a light sweet and sour sauce I’ll bet you can’t match this…

I order takeout here at least once every couple weeks, and I’ve been coming to the restaurant with my family for years. The food is consistently fresh and tasty — my usual favorites are the Crispy Spicy Chicken served with sliced jalapenos, Beef Lo Mein, and the Shrimp with Lobster Sauce. Honestly everything is good here! I see a lot of poor reviews on the service, and I have to agree that yes if you’re gonna dine in… take your time bc the service can be on the slow side! But I’ve never had a bad experience in all the years I’ve been coming here. The staff is friendly and the food is great. Absolutely recommend if you’re looking for good Chinese food.

A nice solid meal of Chinese Food. We called and ordered(the wrong location btw). It was ready at the specified time which is always helpful. Pretty typical but prepared well and packaged securely.

By far the best Chinese food in the valley. Everything I have had was excellent, fresh, cooked to perfection. I am from Boston and I am used to eating in Chinatown. The food here is just as good. I just wish they were open a little later. 9:00pm is actually 8:30.

I had heard they were good, thought I’d give them a try. After checking website for hours I drove 40 mins from Palm Springs arriving at 845p to grab some take out, only to be told by disinterested woman at counter the they were closed. When I suggested that the hours were until 9p, she returned«not in the summer, we shut the kitchen down at 840.» Waste of time, waste of gas. Update your website and act like a real business with hours that are not arbitrary. I won’t bother to come back.

Ohhh I so badly wanted to give China Wok a great review… But sadly, I cannot. The food is wonderful, but the service is probably the worst(next to Mario’s Italian Restaurant). Both times I’ve visited for my lunch break with colleagues it takes over an hour to have an average lunch. The server I had(on both occasions) was inattentive and somehow cannot figure out how to put her guests above her social hour at work. Our lunch this afternoon ran over by 20-minutes because she took 30-minutes to take our order, which finally happened when I was able to get her attention waive her over to our table. I could understand if the restaurant was slammed and she just couldn’t keep up, but we were only one of three tables in the entire establishment. From now on, its takeout only. Unless I have two hours to spare.

As a regular customer I have been here a few times since they are on the way home and it’s convenient to grab a bucket of soup and dish and eat before it gets too late… However, be warned, that the food quality is inconsistent at best — some days there are plenty of wontons in the soup, and some days there are two or three. Today it was par with dumpster diving. Not that I have dumpster dived for food, but I would imagine that the food freshly tossed would be better tasting than my take out. I opened the Sesame Chicken and spooned out a few pieces over some white rice. The chicken had the worst taste I have ever had since I got food poisoning in NYC in 1988. Truly it’s that bad. After the first couple of pieces, I realized that the chicken was kept unrefigerated for a while prior to being cooked and was possbily on it’s way to causing some food poisoning. One piece was meh and then one would be so off tasting. When I called to have the chicken dish refunded, they basically told me to call back some other time. They gave me even more of a run-around when I asked to get my card refunded and to speak with the manager and they were too busy to look up my check… Wow. Really? I was again told they were too busy to deal with this by the female and that the manager did not want to talk to me as he is so busy. So you are all too busy to have proper food handling to prevent problems and too busy to handle the problems you created? Wrong answer. See this review? It’s accurate for the food and for your lack of ability in customer service. So she puts someone on the phone who says he’s in charge and that he won’t do anything and I have to call back. I asked him five times if he was the manager and he got rude, nasty and then started yelling I would not let him help me. Really the best way to handle this is to get my check number, put the credit in and say«We are sorry.» CUSTOMERSERVICE101. Since you folks don’t seem to have a clue about customer service, here are three acceptable responses: 1) We are sorry you had a problem, would you like another dish? We can have that by the time you get back here. 2) We are sorry you had a problem, we can refund you for the dish right away. 3) We are sorry about that, what can we do to make it up to you? Then the female gets back on and tells me the guy in charge will BLOCK my phone number after I suggested that customer service is taking care of the problem not pushing it off to another day. I let them know that Unilocal!would be getting the review and the Riverside Health Department would be getting a late night call. Please block my number. I won’t be coming back ever. You won’t be able to block the Health Department’s phone number. Del Taco is a higher quality of service and food. The lack of respect for customers and their lack of ability/desire/respect to handle problems as well as their inability to handle food properly is a HUGEWARNINGSIGN for potential customers. AVOID unless you have health insurance or are very constipated. UPDATE: I was finally called back late last night and a refund was issued. for how much? I don’t know. It still does not make up for my body trying to eject my intestinal tract for most of the day today.

This truly was the worst ever. On top of the servers lacking in knowledge of English he was absolutely uninterested in speaking with us. Compensating for communication chaos we ordered by pointing on the menus and emphasizing what our desired meals were. The only correct thing brought to our table was the sooooo desired dumpling appetizer. As soon as I take my first bite I violently spit it out. The dumplings had obviously been frozen and they were absolutely freezer burned!!! I could have gone to the store and bough frozen ones that I make at home and they would have ended up better and it would have been cheaper!!! Back to the waiter who didn’t get anything right. There were only 2 other people in here, it’s winter, and he is sweating so bad that I’m afraid that as he carries my food over I’m going to get his sweat in my food. GROSS!!! I wouldn’t not have given a 1 star primarily for the service, that wouldn’t have been fair. Maybe I got unlucky with the waiter, but there is no excuse for the AWEFUL frozen food.
