Artistic Doors

Artistic Doors is close to my husband’s office, so I went over introduced myself and asked if they would be interested in doing a project at my house which is literally 3 minutes away. They said yes. I lost the card, my bad and so went back and met Jerry and Jennifer. Again they said they were interested in the project. Made an appointment for Jerry to come over a few days later. Stayed home and he never showed. I called about an hour later after appointed time, left a message. No call back, no apology. Called again the next day and the next day. So here it is a week later and still no call. I love to support local business so was disappointed.

Such a contrary experience with services in Palm Springs. I ordered a custom made door for the front entrance of my new home. Waiting many weeks for the door to be made, we were eager to have it installed before our housewarming party on April 25^th. We were given the names of two door hangers by the maker of our door. One said he would look at his calendar, but simply never returned our call. The other did come to our house and looked at our doorway, measured, and gave us a price. When we were notified that the door was ready for installation, and the hardware had also arrived, we contacted the guy who gave us a quote, but our calls and e-​mails went unreturned. Because of that, we found a third door hanger, who could not seem to show up when he said he would.
Frustrated and somewhat amazed, I called Artistic Doors on a Wednesday. After months of «maybe», «hopefully», «sorry», «we will try», etc. Artistic Doors had our new door installed on Friday, TWO days after my first phone call and in time for our party, two days later. The work was fantastic and we are thrilled to have found a business that knows how to interact with the public, values honesty and timeliness, and also knows quality craftsmanship.

Very impressed with this company. From start to finish, very professional. Looking forward to using them again on my other property. The owner is very dedicated to providing excellent service.
