These folk are awesome! All of the people who donate their own time, money and services
should be commended! The staff is awesome as well. I recently adopted a dog from them
after losing a 14 y/​o dog of my own.

Love this shelter! We had so much fun at BunFest and even adopted a rabbit from them in July. Sara was great with helping us find the rabbit that fit our family’s needs. You can tell that all of the animals are very well cared for and they take the time to spay/​neuter rabbits on top of the cats and dogs! So hard to find at an actual shelter!

The staff was extremely helpful and the adoption process was thorough but not too long. We adopted a beautiful puppy who is now a member of our family! The puppy came neutered, microchipped and up to date on all his shots/​deworming. He also came with 30 days pet insurance which was good, because he did come down with a little cold as most puppies do. Thanks for giving us our furever friend!

Super clean facility. Numerous volunteers. They get to know the dogs and do a great job of telling you about them. Perhaps the nicest shelter in the St. Lucie, Martin County, PBC area. A great place to adopt a pet.

If you admit you will allow your cat outside they will not let you adopt. I am sure this is because cats kill pretty birds. Prepare for stories about exploding rat populations in your area.
Nice facility though.
