Thank god for this place ! Great modern diner food and modern diner vibe. Nothing like it in PB.

This WAS our go to spot on the island for breakfast and brunch on the weekends. For some ridiculous reason they stopped serving breakfast/brunch on Saturdays and Sundays. If you decide to call your self a diner… maybe you should act like one. Secondly, we waited for a table for almost 20 minutes and were unaware that they stopped serving brunch, we would have left and gone to a place with some breakfast elsewhere. This is really disappointing since we really did like this place. However, we will now be venturing to different restaurants until the owner reverses this ridiculously unreasonable decision.

This is our go to spot for breakfast on the island. However, this week they changed the policy to NO breakfast after 11:15AM on the weekend. This makes zero sense for a place calling themselves a diner, and specifically in a place where people go to Sunday brunch. This is the most ABSURD idea. We showed up before 11:15 but had to wait for a table, and are now stuck with the lunch menu. We will be going to breakfast and brunch at Pistache now, congrats to the diner for turning away regulars that enjoyed your DINER breakfast and brunch. No sign on the door to tell us before we waited for a table, only to find out after we were seated that they changed the breakfast policy. Talk about foolish owners and management.

Wish there were more places like this around Worth Avenue. Very friendly and reliable, and the food will not disappoint. Children are welcome, and while there is often a wait their time estimates are generally accurate. Closed for dinner so be sure to stop for lunch or breakfast.

Our shuttle driver recommended this place. It’s only open for breakfast and lunch. We walked down for lunch when we left the beach. The food was amazing! My son and I shared a grilled chicken burrito. It was stuffed with moist chicken and rice. We both regretted sharing it! lol My husband had a chicken salad sandwich and my other son had a cheeseburger. No one was disappointed. Everyone ate all of their food and commented how good and fresh it was. The cakes on the counter were huge. After such a large sized meal, we had no room for the dessert. Next time we are in Palm Beach we plan to go back for breakfast.

We found this diner thanks to a tip from our hotel shuttle driver. After we left the beach we were starved and looking for a local place with a great meal. I’m just mad we found this gem on our last day of vacation. We came for lunch and we were not disappointed. The food was great and if we had room we would have tried those awesome looking cakes on the counter. If you’re in the area don’t wait go directly there and get a meal. They only serve breakfast and lunch and they are really close to the beach; so go for breakfast hit the beach and then go back for lunch.

A casual and overcrowded place near Palm Beach downtown. The food were good for lunch. The one thing I really dislike in this restaurant is a mandatory 20% gratuity. When we got our check, me and my wife felt so bad about this. We’re keep thinking why they do this to us.

I had this place bookmarked for a while and completely forgot about it. I suggested to a friend that we try it out, since we were already at the beach. The diner is clean, great décor, plenty of sitting area, including numerous stools around the bar counter. We sat immediately without a wait. A few minutes later our server brought out waters, and gave us a few more minutes to decide what we’d like to order. Shortly after, an employee behind the counter dropped a small coffee/espresso cup, and the handle part of the cup flew right by my face. I was pretty shocked for a second, but I was fine so I didn’t see a reason to freak out. Those behind the counter were more concerned with the clean up of the glass, instead of where it projected. Our server came over a couple minutes later to take our order, and I handed him the piece of glass to dispose of which wasn’t a big deal. I ended up ordered their club, which looked great when it came out! It wasn’t anything special. After the first few bites, I bit into something hard, and foreign… OUCH. I spit it out, and it was the sharp end of a wooden toothpick that had somehow broken off into my sandwich. Absolutely not happy. My teeth on the left side of my mouth felt pretty horrible for a couple minutes, but I was happy I didn’t swallow it. I informed the server and he offered to have the sandwich remade, after I agreed he took the entire plate with almost all my chips on it. He took note of it and said he would bring a new bag with my freshly made sandwich. A few minutes go by, and my server brings my lunch out, no chips. Not a huge deal, so I mention it to him and suddenly it feels like I’m asking too much. I asked for a to-go box and the check, paid my bill, and left. I don’t like complaining to managers about my meal, so I write Unilocal reviews instead. I will definitely not be a return customer. Food is over-priced for average, and subpar customer service.

mmmm just ok. Which is such a pity because there are so few casual places to eat around here. The wait was long even though there were very few people in there. I had a good eggs benedict, but my husband had a burger which was SORAW! He would never complain so he ate it quietly, only to have stomach pains after. I am sure it will always do well because of locations BUT we will not be there.

I Came by Surfside Diner on a Saturday morning and they were plenty busy. I got the Reuben sandwich with fries. Nice Solid sandwich, service was good too. Prices are very fair for Palm Beach island. Would come back.

didn’t really live up to my expectations or even the ambiance. the wait staff seemed overly busy for not much business and weren’t even friendly. I have definitely seen the same hash browns at McDonalds.

Great café with amazing staff and yummy food. The fish tacos came with fresh blackened mahi and pico de gallo and house made guacamole were the perfect condiments. The tortilla chips that the tacos came with was sprinkled with some cumin which was such a tasty little surprise and gave this classic a nice new touch. Yum!

So happy I stopped into this little diner over the weekend! The atmosphere, service and food were all top-notch. I actually came across this place thanks to Unilocal.I was looking for a brunch option after doing a long run past the beach on Palm Beach and this was the top recommendation. Once I finished up my miles, I hopped in the car and took a ride over to the Surfside Diner. The diner was pretty busy but there wasn’t a wait. I was able to grab a seat at the bar/counter area. I was waited on immediately and since I was so hungry promptly ordered an egg white omelet. Now, the omelet itself isn’t super pricy, but when you add all of the extra stuff in it, it really starts to get expensive. My egg white omelet was almost $ 15! But I figured it was a special occasion since I was leaving town and I had just run so far. The omelet was excellent — probably one of the better ones I’ve ever had. It was put together perfectly and the arugula salad served with it was also excellent! There was a whole area of cakes and cookies that I would love to try the next time I come in. Definitely a great little addition to the island food scene and a wonderful breakfast option if you’re looking to dine in Palm Beach.

Great high-end diner for breakfast, with reasonable prices. We went here for Sunday breakfast and it was fantastic. The diner is very clean and modern looking inside. The waitstaff was perfect: efficient and friendly. I had the Florentine Benedict and my better half had eggs. Both were delivered very quickly, with great presentation, quality, and simply delicious. The crowds in this place were down-to-earth too. Feel free to come in your Sunday casuals and relax. Great place!

After adjusting to the fact that nothing opens early in Palm Beach wet set our sights on Surfside Diner for breakfast. We arrived just prior to their opening at 8am and easily found street parking nearby. This is Palm Beach — just blocks away from Worth Avenue so we were prepared for the pricing(note: this isn’t Waffle House; so breakfast for two will cost more than $ 12). That said this is a very clean diner with counter service in the center and booths along with sides and a healthy menu vs a greasy spoon. We were very happy with our breakfast. The ingredients were fresh and perfectly prepared. Our servers was friendly and prompt. There are plenty of menu options. We focused in on the the two and three egg options. Hubby had a three-egg omlete with onions and I had two eggs scrambled. Both options come with toast and home fries of arugula salad. The multi-grain toast looked homemade/bakery made and was thickly sliced. Coffee was diner-worthy. Nothing to write home about. Great start to the day in the Florida sunshine.

Had breakfast here on a Sunday morning. Very nice and clean inside. Typical Palm Beach crowd. Had to wait about 10 — 15 for a table… could’ve sat at the counter but we needed a high chair. Staff was very friendly and prompt. Menu is limited and definitely on the pricey side for breakfast. We both tried different Benedicts, my wife the Palm Beacher, and I tried the standard. We also ordered blueberry pancakes for the baby. Food was good… I had a small issue which was quickly resolved with my order. I think they might cure and smoke their own smoked salmon. Pancakes were the best part of the meal. Overall…it’s ok, but be prepared to spend more than usual for breakfast without having the perks of alcohol to offset that cost. Cost was $ 46 before tip. If you like overpriced breakfast/diner food, I recommend City Diner as well.
