While the view is incredible, you can see/feed the fish, and listen to live music, the food is absolutely horrible. Most things taste freezer burnt. We live nearby so have tried multiple times. Even the drinks(orange crush, mojito) aren’t good. We’ve learned to keep the drinks simple(beer or wine) and just order an appetizer(still no good options) if we want to come here for the ambiance. Brunch is also overpriced though better then dinner menu and Bloody Mary bar is decent.

Love this place I will be here everyday either to eat, shop or just enjoy looking around. This is my favorite place to go in the area! Food is great people are wonderful can’t say anything bad about it, other than its not in Chicago where I’m from lol.

I took my family to this restaurant the night before I was supposed to be getting knee surgery. Knowing that I would be spending the next month practically bedridden, I picked this place based on reviews and what I wanted to eat-some good seafood. Make sure you come before sunset, and try and sit outside if you can because it gets chilly inside. My mom ordered the crab dip, and my father and I shared some jumbo stone crab claws. Both were great. I had the lobster ravioli, which was phenomenal and I practically devoured it. From what I gathered both of my parents loved their meals as well. I have a follow up with the doctor about my surgery next week so whilst in town my mom said we must go again.

Nice location, M-F happy hour 4 – 6 with bar bites — ok. But what is strange is the numerous small birds flying around indoors. The sound of chirping is annoying. Can’t believe the health department hasn’t sited them for all the wild birds in an indoor Resturant. Service is hit or miss. Was hoping for more from this place.

I really cannot say enough about how important this restaurante has become to me. You should read this as a glowing review. Sailfish is really a lovely place. It has a charm it’s own which is rare. Now everyone complains about price but that is unfair, you are paying for an amazing space and great customer service. The marina drives up the price becuase of its convenience to boat owners. The extra cost is well worth it to me and I’m a land lubber. Now onto the food. Big servings and well prepared. The only time I have had an issue was a major holiday at a peak time. As a chef myself I should have known better. They are subject to the availability of quality food, a fish is sometimes just bland no cooking in the world can fix that. I recommend the sampler for dinner. Just be ready to feast(and to add your own salt or request it, south Floridians complain salt off the menue). You get a show of their cooking and a healthy variety. Really though if you order well you cant complain in my experience. Remeber friends there is only so much you can do with fish and chips. This is a seafood restaurante… their unadulterated seafood is why you come here. Highly recommend.

Great place. We took a boat out from there. You can see the fish swimming around the area.

We are tourists and unfortunately we were in a hurry but J.D. took care of us. Drinks and an hor devour on the water — excellent South Florida experience. Grear skillet nachos with Blake Mcgee. Thank you Sailfish Marina — #collectingmemories

Pricey. The ambiance is very nice. The service was fair. The cracked conch wasn’t very good and a small portion. The entrees are expensive and not worth it. You can get much better seafood for alot less. Go for a drink(although they were out of all their craft beers), not the food.

overpriced for the food quality and portions. Breakfast is a horrible waste of time and money here. You are paying for a view of boats and that’s about it. Food takes eons to arrive and when it does its sub par. Most out of towers will be dazzled by the view alone and happily overlook the mediocre food quality and overpriced dishes.

So lets start by saying amazing views, great food, excellent service. We did an impromptu lunch today here. Both my husband and I heard great things about this place but never been. They offer both valet and self serve parking lots. The wait for outdoors was almost an hour but inside was only 10 – 15 minutes. We were lucky to get a table with an AMAZING view so we were happy. We started with spicy bloody marys(yum!) and conch fritters. Which was ok, had chunks of conch(but too doughy). Overall wasn’t too bad. Sauce was nice. My hubby had a cup of conch soup which was quite delicious! I had the blackened grouper sandwich and hubby had fish & chips which was good! For dessert we redeemed the free key lime slice. Great weather, great views and yummy food. Cant ask for more! We’ll be back to try the voodoo bucket!

Location is great and easy to get to. Saw some photos of various food on Unilocal before we got there. Showed the waiter one of the photos and ordered the Floridian Paella. Knock your socks off good. Wife had the Yellowtail Snapper. She said it was great. Had a group of 11 and staff hugely accommodating! Would recommend! Staff was awesome. Our waiter was Doug.

I love it here, the atmosphere is lovely, it feels like a mini vacation. The food is good, unfortunately the service this time was not. It’s unfortunate that our server was bad because everything else was nice.

Despite the mixed reviews the location was very convenient since I was already on the island today. So we decided to try it. Staff went quickly from asking us how we were doing 3 times in the 5 minutes after we got our food to not being seen again til long after we were done eating. The service did not match the prices as everything on the menu was priced very high. The food was decent and tasty but priced for perfection. The Unilocal offer for a free slice of key lime pie is far different from what you would get if you ordered the pie off the menu, if you want a normal size slice you can still expect to pay for it. This is a stark contrast to the photo this business posted to Unilocal showing a slice of pie that is bigger still than even the full cost slice of pie. They were happy to include a $ 2.80 charge for the«free» pie Check your bill for the Unilocal pie charge They did end up discounting the bill buy the same cost as the pie.

We had a really nice last night meal right on the marina at this staple of Singer iS;land: it seems like you have to go here for one meal at least– the views are great, the food is fresh, and outside, the chairs & tables are so comfortable. They are high tip bar tables(but large) with extra large chairs. I loved the whole atmosphere. My friend and I shared the broiled seafood platter, and everything was great– from the lobster tail to the scallops(which are not my fav normally), I cleaned my plate. We had a nice night, and out waiter was very nice and OH: Tip tip tip: if you ‘check in’ on Unilocal, you get a free $ 8.50 Key lime Pie slice. Not too shabby at all. Plus, it was delish. So there was that. Great experience overall, a little quiet on a Friday night, but it did not bother me– I hear season has been slow due to the warmer wether up North. Either was enjoyable experience– I always love fresh seafood consumed outside, on the water– it was very peaceful.

I’ve been to Sailfish many times for breakfast and lunch when visiting family friends on Singer Island, and the kitchen has always turned out some good food. This time around, I got the club sandwich, made better than the usual club by the addition of black forest ham, adding a really nice smoky flavor to a classic sandwich. One of my lunch favorites is their fish and chips — you can tell the fish is very fresh, it’s lightly battered, and it’s served with fries and some nice cole slaw. It’s a lot of food, but for those of you who like traditional pub fare, you’ll walk away happy. They also do a great burger here, as well as some very nice entrée-sized salads. The one thing I can’t recommend is the crab nachos — a pile of somewhat funky chips topped with globs of melted cheese but barely any crab. Once you get past the top layer, it’s just chips. Skip it. The setting is really nice, right on the marina facing the Intercoastal, a great backdrop for a casual waterside lunch. Finally, the staff has always been incredibly friendly, checking in often to make sure you have everything you need. Don’t forget to check in on Unilocal before your visit… a complimentary slice of their key lime pie awaits!

Wow. Im from Colorado and we have better seafood there. I ordered the mates platter to get a sampling of all that they had to offer. Everything was fried, the scallops were over cooked with a lot of unnecessary seasoning like Rosemary and something else. If you’re serving fresh food you shouldn’t have to season it that much. On the other hand the calamari and conch was absolutely tasteless except for the taste of flour in the breading. The view was fantastic and the ambience was pretty good. Although they had an open mic night with some guy that probably moved to Florida 50 years ago and learned every Jimmy Buffett song written.

Beautiful restaurant and a beautiful view but the food is just OK. The fried calamari appetizer had absolutely zero flavor, no seasoning, nothing. It was horribly disappointing. The fried grouper sandwich was good but again just OK, especially for the price. Fries were boring. My sister got the fish tacos and she thought they were just OK. We were there when it was not busy at all(maybe 5 tables in the restaurant) and it was hard to find our server. She was not consistent with refills. Overall, its all about the ambiance. Don’t come here expecting stellar food.

Excellent Snapper Vera Cruz and macadamia nut encrusted grouper. Vegetables were perfectly done. Had a baked Brie for starters and it too was perfectly presented and delicious. We ate in the cavernous indoor part of the restaurant but the outdoor seating right on the marina was also inviting. Attentive wait staff. Luba was our waitress and she was terrific. All around pleasant experience. Thanks, Heather for my lunchtime check in. Excellent service!

Sailfish Marina has a wide variety of seafood to choose from and is reasonably priced considering it’s seafood. Our server, Adrianna, was courteous and attentive to our large party of 13 as well as welcoming. Despite the lively ambiance of the night, we were never waiting on her for long. The food was great, I got the Dolphin Florentine, which is a mahi mahi filet topped with spinach, crab meat, and melted Swiss cheese. It was my first time trying dolphin and the fish itself is bland but overall the florentine was well prepared and tasty. I got to try many of the other dished my family got and everything was yummy! Had a great time and there’s also a nice marina and dock to walk by with shops and vendors. Delicious food and dedicated service. If you check in, you get a free slice of key lime pie which was awesome. I was worried at first because I thought there would be a limit to the amount of pies and I told everyone else in my party about it but our server was really nice and accommodating.
