Busy store in the Palm Beach Gardens Mall. I visited on the Eve of Christmas Eve to purchase a gift card for that«special someone.» Clean store with friendly staff. Before I made it to the back of the store and the long Christmas wait line, I was asked by three different staff persons whether I needed help. That long line I spoke of went rather quick and I was in and out of the store in less than ten minutes. As a note, credit card customers can make an in-store payment for immediate credit to their account. /s/William E. Lewis Jr., Fort Lauderdale, Broward County, Florida.

So, let me start by saying I was traumatized as a pre-teen when my mother insisted on bringing me to a VS to have a stranger measure my chest and give me one of those faces, like, «maybe we might have that size? somewhere in the back?» Since then, I have had the opportunity to upgrade to a barely B, but that doesn’t mean I didn’t still have a fear of the dreaded measuring tape they pull out of God knows where. Enter The Gardens Mall Victoria’s Secret… We came here the day after Christmas, the deluge of mall visitors was thick as holiday gravy. I had been looking for a bathing suit top that would stay on in some serious waves if I did attempt to surf in Puerto Rico(spoiler alert: I didn’t surf). This Victoria Secret had a great selection of swim suits(is this a FL thing?) including one made of Lycra and great neon colors. I was being risky and I grabbed one size. Headed to the dressing room, I was greeted by an extremely pleasant person who wrote down the size I picked, my name, and put me into one of their spacious rooms with a button to press if I needed her… I did. The size was TOO small. I hesitantly pressed the button. She came to check on me, we chatted, no measuring tape made an appearance, and, upon inspection, she even said I might need a C(flattery will get you everywhere). She brought me back two sizes, one of which fit like a glove… Sad news is there was no way I was waiting in the line; a hodgepodge of returns and people trying to find some sweet sweet deals post-Christmas…hence the lack of a fifth star. The store was still very organized despite the barrage of customers that day, and I really did greatly appreciate their customer service and am no longer frightened by the dressing room as I once was!

I love Victoria’s Secret, but what is it with the awful employees?! I was not greeted when I walked in(even though three employees made eye contact with me). Then I tried different items on– the girl working closest to the fitting rooms was having drama talk with two other employees. Acted like I was a total inconvenience to interrupt her conversation when she should be working. I don’t need the red carpet, but damn! I’m spending hundreds of dollars here! VS needs to reconsider their hiring standards.
