Papa John’s Pizza

If I could give zero stars I would. We ordered with a delivery time of 40 minutes which we asked if this was accurate as we would pick up our order if it was going to be longer then the stated 40 minutes. The said that we would receive our order in the promised 40 minutes, after an hour of waiting for our order we called to complain and were told our order had just left to be delivered to us. After an hour and twenty minutes we called and Matt swore and hung up on us when when we complained that we were guaranteed to receive our order in forty minutes. Never has a crappy pizza chain treated us so poorly as this Papa John’s. Please do not ever use this location as they do not understand customer service. When we drove to the location to ask Matt why he would think he could speak to us this way the District manager stated that he had never had this happen in fifteen years of Matt working for Papa john’s. Well just because no one ever confronted Matt does not mean that Matt has never treated customers this way. Avoid Papa John’s as there are too many options that respect customers. Hey Matt next time realize that this is 2016 and we will tell EVERY ONE we know about our experience, hell I’ll even tweet Papa John himself, I am sure he would love to hear that on Super Bowl Sunday we had this experience with Peyton Manning Himself in the Super Bowl!!!

ZERO STARS: We ordered for Super Bowl Sunday, and we’re quoted 40 minutes. After an understandable 1 hour and 20 minutes we called to ask about our order… the «Store Manager, Matt L.» SWORE at the friend calling, and HUNG UP! Our friend went to the store to inquire about the order and maybe pick it up, and was again sworn at by Store Manager Matt L.
This inappropriate, unprovoked, and unprofessional behavior has cost this crappy pizza joint any and all of our future service, along with ALL of our friends! Matt L., who so pompously offered his last name, along with his spineless District Manager, has forever tarnished the Palatine location. This favorite go-​to pizza place for all of our large family parties will now be negatively spoken of to everyone on social media, as well as Papa John’s Corporate Office. You don’t swear at customers over company errors, Matt. And don’t worry, your last name will be included in our Corporate complaint!

Takes too long to get my delivery. Waited over 2 hours.

Always hot and fresh every time. I have ordered from here several times and it has always been great!

I came in at 1030ish at night for carry out. I open the door… a huge blast of ice cold air meets me. Felt like I just stepped into a walk-​in freezer. I like it cold. It was 62 degrees outside. It was colder than that.
Not pleased but was too hungry. As they did not have my food in a warming station. Was only on a shelf no heat lamp above it. That tells me lack of thought or pride in their food.
2 men in the store. One has a snotty attitude. A delivery boy. Giving me weird vibes like I was an annoyance to him being a carryout customer. Walking around with that attitude. The prep guy was a degree more professional but no smile. No greeting. No emotion. Nothing. It was like the air conditioning froze him in time and the delivery boys attitude made me think twice about ordering from them again. I can always order from Sarpinos when its this late and in the mood for pizza.
I was curious about garlic knots and apple pie thing they had so placed a order of one of each plus my pizza. The garlic knot was horrid. Edges was rock hard. Butter pooling… unappetizing. The apple pie was just a sticky mess with all of the white frosting on bottom of the crust. So not like the picture online.
Never again will order those stuff.

Chicken wings are really bad slimy not crispy and they tried to kill me with expired blue cheese dipping sauce that that looked like sloppy phlegm do not know about the pizza. but the service sucked when I pointed out the not so appetizing expired blue cheese poison they gave me only said «I’m sorry and gave me a replacement so I could have spent the night in hospital bad bad and shut the place Down

This location is exactly what you expect. For best results, use the online ordering tool but don’t call.

We ordered here bunch of times and it’s as good as a chain pizza can be. We never had any issues. Orders were always correct and on time. Not much more to say about it.

This place is so mismanaged. I ordered a pizza last night at 6:00 pm. A simple two ingredient topping pizza. I was told delivery would take 50 minutes. I called at 7:00 pm inquiring about my order and was told they were on their way. I called back at 7:15 pm to talk to Jeff. a manager. He put me on hold to call the driver and then came back and told me he was in my neighborhood and I would get it within the next 10 minutes. At 7:25 pm I called back to ask for Jeff. He automatically copped an attitude when I asked that they credit my order. I asked to speak to another manager and he literally put the phone down on the counter and never came back. I hung up and called back again. This time, Jenna took the time to help me out. I found out that Jeff «lied» and that the pizza left the building at 7:11 pm. I asked to make sure that I would be credited the amount of the pizza and she said I would, but that I would still be responsible for the $ 2.50 delivery charge! I’m mean, seriously? My pizza finally got here at 7:40 pm — cold and soggy. Such a disappointment. You get crappy pizza along with crappy attitudes. Stay clear!

I gave them a second chance tonight after a poor experience, just to show up to a misplaced order. No pizza for dinner kids because a bigger child can’t run a simple carry out pizza shop.

I would have given this place four stars, but they do not serve pizza by the slice during the day, which was disappointing. Almost all the other Papa John locations i have been to serve pizza by the slice.

Large for 11.00 $ is what i always get.
