Love, love, love Foxglove! A great little shop in downtown Ptown that has everything you didn’t know you needed! I go here to buy gifts for those friends who have everything (you know exactly who I’m talking about!) because I bet they don’t have this stuff! There is always something new at Foxglove Cottage, and I love exploring the displays. Not only is there a variety of merchandise, they are at all price levels… you would be remiss if you pass by this!

Super cute and very unique shop. Its in downtown Palatine just off the train, if you are looking for that little something to finish your room or to give a gift this is a great place to go.

This tiny little shop is packed with one-​of-​a-​kind «antiques» and unusual gift items. Every time I venture in I find something else I want. You must visit here around the holidays. I found some of the most unique decorations and ornaments, and gifts for myself (oops!)and others. Its a 5 minute walk from the downtown Palatine train station and worth a little stop off. The prices are reasonable and lure me back often for new finds. My favorite purchases are an old stainless steel teapot, a plain concrete nativity with a metal crèche, an old red «camping» lantern wired into a functioning lamp… From the station, go east (back to Chicago) to the first street, which is Brockway and about a block South, after you cross the tracks, you’ll see it on the east side of the street. I always find something useful and unique.
