Love their bikinis. So sexy and affordable. I wish they didn’t discontinue an original bottom that I had way back when they first opened. The staff is always helpful and friendly.

Worst customer service and worst return policy ever.
It took quite some times to have replies by email and the «tone» was never as cordial as someone would expect.
Besides there is a massive «size» problem. Order one size bigger than your usual size.
While their bikinis look nice, I wouldn’t recommend this brand as the customer service is key in the retail business.

The suits are super-​cute, with lots of color and styles to choose from.
However, they have a shitty return policy, final sale, so make sure you love it., before you buy it, as they are unyielding!
Second, I wore my bottom twice, just to sunbathe, and the seams unraveled instantly. Since I bought the bottom in a store, I contacted customer support over e-​mail, and they unfortunately, do not stand by their «Pakaloha Guarantees 100% Love & Customer Satisfaction!» that they advertise on the website. If you are ok with paying over $ 50 for a bikini bottom that is not good quality, go for it!

Stopped in the shop while staying in Paia because my old Target bikinis don’t fit so well after a few summers. Amber was super friendly and patient while I proceeded to try on and retry-​on a ton of pieces looking for the perfect combo — she provided helpful advice on the right sizing considering what she knows about what will stay on correctly after jumping in the ocean and moving around to swim/​surf/​run around. The prices are also very reasonable considering you can spend upwards of $ 150 or more on a bikini at other stores nearby. I ended up getting 2 tops and 2 bottoms that look awesome in all their combinations (luckily grabbing 2 tops from the sale bin). I’m already making plans to check out what patterns they have available as I prep for beach weather next Spring…
Pakaloha definitely has a certain «style» of high quality suit– you’ll see all their pieces up on the wall as soon as you walk in and will be able to tell if it’s for you. You can check out their website first if you’d like to see if the trip to the store is worth your while. I’ll admit, I wasn’t sure I’d be comfortable showing off more booty than I’m used to (it’s pretty cold in New York most of the time), but became more acclimated the longer I had the suit on. I have a few more days in Maui to break in my suits before heading back to sweater/​coat weather!

It’s unfortunate that I have to write a bad review of such a cute bikini shop. I placed an order in march and yet have not received it. It has been over 7 weeks. I’ve called several times, impatient, because I had ordered this specifically for my birthday trip to Palm Springs which was on April 15. I believe not having shipment in for over 7 weeks is RIDICULOUS and extremely unprofessional. If shipment wasnt in, there should have read «out of stock». I am extremely upset and disapointed because I was really excited and looking forward to my new bikini. I tried being patient with Pakaloha, but their service is terrible.

Kind of hidden on Front Street, but the cutest little store ever. VERY organized and the lady helped with all our needs with all our different body shapes. She didn’t mind that we tried on 30 different suits. Cute colors and prints, able to mix and match, decently priced for a good quality swim wear. A must for a cute bikini!

Being on Front St. I didn’t think it was going to be great (Front St is touristy)…boy was I wrong!
OBSESSED with their suits. Only bottoms I’ll wear now. Many types to fit many body types. My Hawaiian friends only shop here! Great for surfing, don’t lose your bottoms (much).
I will be ordering on line forever and spreading the word!
SO SO SO GREAT. The lady, Susie I think, is hilarious and got me to try everything on and found the best suit for my body type. She was amazing, I wanted to play all day.
I paid about $ 130 for 3 bottoms, which to me is pretty normal. If you buy a Victoria’s Secret full bathing suit you’ll pay between 80 & 100… so $ 43 for a great fitting bottom is normal and worth it to me!

The worst customer service for an over priced bikini for my girlfriend! There are tons of other shops to get a better deal with better service!

Pakaloha WAS one of my best kept secrets, but after some exceptional customer service from the island all the way to the mainland I just couldn’t contain myself and had to make a shout out to the staff at Pakaloha!
First it should be noted that the products here are sexy, durable, and comfortable. There’s something for everyone from the sun bather all the way down to the active surfer babe without sacrificing style for functionality. Further, the staff knows their bathing suit inventory inside out. They are able to suggest complimentary patterns and colors for a fun, unique suit that will rarely be duplicated, if ever.
I had visited this store about a year ago and loved the selection. Here I am a year later ordering from the website. The website is easy to navigate so if you can’t make it out to Maui you can always shop from home!
I admit that its a bit pricy but I’ve found it to be well worth the money — PLUS the company sponsors local surfers of all ages, I just love small businesses that give back to the community.
If you’re a tiny tiny individual, you’ll totally appreciate the sizing here. I’m about a 26 – 27 waist wise and I opted for the medium. So all of my 23−24−25 girls out there are really gonna love it!

super cute. super comfortable. well designed to be both flattering and functional.
these suits are priced well considering how well they fit and the variety of styles and color options. don’t be shy about trying on styles you might not have considered before entering the shop — you might be pleasantly surprised. my friend and I both were. got two tops and two bottoms personally. thinking of going back for more while here (they have online ordering options but the selection does not seem to be as extensive as the shop on Front Street). Yes, it is _​that_​good.
…plus Kelly, the person who works there, is very cool and knows her stuff — she must have some serious patience working there. please be nice to her. don’t ignore her and don’t be rude. she’s not trying to force you to buy something. she’s just there to help.

2 small bikinis… lime green, grey, blue. they are good quality bathing suits with lycra.
