I’ve been to hundreds of bead stores, this one is not special. The staff was incredibly rude towards me & my service dog. The woman behind the counter completely ignored me until my service dog sat down which is when she exclaimed that he was peeing. Which he was not. It was plain discrimination on her part. The selection covers the basics & you’ll pay through the nose for whatever you buy there. Your better off shopping on
or wait until you can go to the bead district of downtown LA.

Best bead shop I have been to in the United States. Great variety of glass/​ceramic/​gemstone/​vintage/​crystal/​shell/​seed beads and buttons as well as threads and supplies, large selection, frequent sales, and parking in front of the shop.
This past weekend’s sale was 40%off selected beads and buttons which occupied almost half of the store space; it was a very generous sale.
There is also a café that shares part of the space with the bead shop. Their cat unfortunately passed away, I remember him hanging around the shop a decade ago… they have pictures of him at the entrance of the shop.

Great little cottage-​style shop with an amazing range of beads — shell, seed, glass, Swarovski, silver, and a wide range of threads and supplies. Reasonable prices. There’s an indoor bench, cold glasses of water and a friendly cat to occupy the spouse while you shop.
