When it first opened it was great. Good food good prices, but now they have cut the size down on the rolls ordered miso soup was luke warm sashimi very small for the price just not worth it any more. 70.00 for two people n you leave feeling hungry also rice salty n cold just letting it go I guess.

Best hibachi ever!!! And the sushi is awesome as well. The service is always attentive and great. Every time I visit Pahrump, this is a must for lunch or dinner.

We found this place on the way back from Death Valley National Park. The menu was a basic Japanese American Restaurant menu. Service was very friendly, good, and efficient. Food was Ok. Nothing special, but it was warm, and prices were very, very reasonable. We enjoyed our meal and if in the area, may be back too.

I would give 0 stars if possible. I had good poisoning after having the shrimp teppanyaki hibachi here.

The food prep right before our eyes was an entertaining experience. I had gone with several coworkers and two of my bosses after a long day of work. The teriyaki chicken hit the spot. I rather enjoyed that. The salad and miso soup before the meal was just right. But I enjoyed the fried rice, which was incredibly delicious — the best I’ve had in quite some time. I recommend this place and will be back if my travels take me there again.

Ate here last night… garlic, spicy edamame as well as sushi and tempura. All were tasty and fresh although, as expected, some liked some dishes better than others. Service and prices were both reasonable. Waterfall is a nice element visually and sound wise. Will certainly eat here again when in the mood.

For sushi it’s not very fresh. A bit tough like the fish was frozen then thawed again. Probably why their fish selection is small. The service was poor. Felt rushed to hurry and order. Got my food and no one checked to see if everything was ok. Had to ask for my bill. Other places employees even the sushi chefs greet you. I got asked how many. Won’t be returning.

The worst sushi I have ever eaten(including the stuff you get at the grocery store). This is the second time I’ve eaten here, the 1st time everything was awesome. This time The tempura veggies were awful, even the teriyaki chicken was gross. I will never be going back

It’s 8:00 on Monday night in Pahrump. The winery is closed and Stockmans won’t open again till Wednesday. Never fear, this place is open until 10 and the food is good enough if not great. Despite being bar empty at 9:00, they took great care of us and the chef was no different than you might find at a higher end Japanese restaurant in Vegas or New York. My wife says the place is calming but that may be Sapporo talking.

We came here at 5pm on the 31st of June for a late lunch after visiting the Death Valley. Food: yummy! We had tempura for starter, udon and Ohjah’s rolls. They also have salad and miso soup for free. Price: Cheap. Including drinks we paid $ 20 per person(including $ 5 tips). Service: Good except he forgot my agedashi tofu. I didn’t complain because we’ll be too full anyway. Parking: easy & plenty Others: I didn’t check whether they had it or not.

Seems to more Chinese than Japanese… Heavy on the salt…-( Use a funky orange creamy sauce on vegetables.

Rude short service. Food was not good. The salad had so much dressing it was like soup. The sushi rolls were small. Not the normal portion size. The server was very very rude!

Dirty trick ripoff !!! Be careful these people will put a gratuity on the bill, and then hide the itemized ticket. Then try to get another gratuity on the visa slip. The food is good, but after telling the manager that this is the second time that this has happened. They still would not take the automatic six person gratuity off the check. I did not feel the waiter deserve an 18% gratuity me after he tried to trick me into double tipping him. The manager handled the situation poorly and did not offer any resolution other then I have told him not to do that. Obviously they’ve had this problem before. Since this is the second time I will never be back. I will tell everyone I know. I hope it was worth a customer and the word of mouth.

Sushi is a favorite in our diet and great to have a restaurant nearby offering the right mix of options. We utilize the sushi bar and stay consistent with our choices, returning weekly. The fish is fresh, of medium quality, and always presented well. A must try and only option if you travel through or live in Pahrump.

This is as good as it gets for Pahrump. There is a lack of Asian food options here, so we always go here. Make sure to check the lunch bento, I had a veggie Tempura box for only $ 6.99. Included was miso soup, salad, gzoya, rice and California rolls. It was filling and tasty. My only gripe was the waiter tended to take food away when I wasn’t finished yet, so minus 1 star.

After a long grueling day learning how to best protect my family with an inaccurate but portable weapon at Front Sight we decided to stop here and have some sushi. The place was overall very clean. I did notice they’re short on storage in the back because they had a ton of supplies(table cloths, stacks of beer, sake and take out boxes) sitting in the hibachi room. It just looked a bit cluttery. Service was great, our waitress was very kind, helpful and eager to please our every need. She was somewhat hard to communicate with, but the previous statement definitely made the language barrier totally ok. The miso soup was at a great temperature and had great flavor. Not much tofu, but that’s how I like it. The seaweed was very complimenting. Our sushi was fantastic! We had a good 8 rolls and I don’t know which was which. We also had shrimp and chicken fried rice. They were kinda bland in comparison to other teppanyaki/hibachi places I’ve visited. Overall this visit earned 5 stars. A great place to stop, relax and have some great food!

One of the better choices in Pahrump. The hibachi side of the restaurant is a lot of fun and the eats are pretty tasty. I enjoyed the fried rice better on this side of the restaurant. Sushi on the other side was better than expected. You wouldn’t expect this quality in Pahrump, but voila — Ohjah delivers.
