We found Jacob through Unilocal while looking for a skilled massage therapist to provide massages for our yoga retreat group. We could not have been luckier to find Jacob!
Jacob is professional, kind, and responsive and is clearly dedicated to supporting his clients in their massage goals. He applies a slow technique that allows for the client to totally relax. He truly is present and the difference that makes is apparent.
We were able to book Jacob to come directly to our villas, which was a wonderful way to experience a massage. He came prepared with music, massage table, and even a heating pad to make sure we were comfortable.
We were so happy with our initial massages that we booked him to come back 4 more times.

Jacob’s studio smells of cedar and has a large screened window looking into the ohia forest that surrounds it, full of birdsong. This morning it also smelled of recent rain, and the massage Jacob gave me still has me «in the zone.» The long, smooth strokes were exactly the right amount of deep. I especially love what he did with my hands and feet, and how he somehow worked my shoulder and the base of my skull simultaneously — weird and wonderful! Everything he did felt like it was created just for me in that moment, and all of it was blissfully comforting and healing. Massage from Jacob will be included in all of my future visits to Hawaii.

Jacob’s technique, energy and intuitive direction he took with my massages were all spot on. I typically don’t get massages when I travel as I don’t like the «learning curve» and the hit and miss encountered occasionally with massage therapists that just don’t actually get the «healing» part of massage as I am specific about what I need from a healing massage. Jacob gets it.
Wish I had found him earlier in my stay. Got 4 massages and each was better than the previous, even more intuitive and healing. even had one of those rare «bright light chakra moments». Mahalo Jacob!

Imagine finding the best massage therapist out in our remote part of the island of Hawaii. I had friends in town visiting, saw an advertisement at the vacation house for Jacob, all the while a little nervous that he wouldn’t match up to the experiences they had had in other parts of the world. So I was able to relax as we agreed that Jacob was the best. They were especially looking for lomi lomi massage and he is an expert. Thank you Jacob!
