Great food and good portions. Good vegetarian selection too. The only reason I would say 4 stars instead of 5 is that this place tends to pack wrong items or forget food requests when they are really busy. I always have to check my order before I take it out and things have had to be fixed a few times. We especially like all the meatless entrees and the tofu with stringbeans dish.

We moved from Pacifica to Sacramento area and having hard time finding food as good as Rice N Roll. We were weekly customers and now haven’t ate Chinese for past couple of months. Only option this way is Panda and thats not the same as real Chinese like Rice N Roll’s. Our favorite dish was Curry Chicken very spicy.

Today was my first time to make a delivery order. Never been to the store but planning to go in the future because their food is good and with complete condiments. This is very significant to me because I am sick today and I can’t afford to go out and drive and happened to find them here on Unilocal.I am really satisfied with their service. Highly recommended! :)

I’ve read some bad reviews so I was pretty scared to order. I ordered for delivery and the lady said it would take over an hour which was a bummer but it actually took less than 30 minutes.(I ordered shortly after opening) The food is booooomb. I’m very satisfied. I got orange chicken and the walnut prawns. #happycustomer

Great food. I requested sautéed green beans w/eggplant and it was delicious. Not too greasy either. My go to spot when I’m craving Chinese food.

I have ordered food for delivery many times and their delivery service is great, food arrives on time. Food quality is on point, no complaints. I highly recommend the sautéed string beans with or without meat and their yang chow fried rice.

I’ve only ordered take-out from this restaurant and it’s quite delicious. All the usual American Chinese food anybody can every crave: orange chicken, sesame chicken, general chicken just to name a few. Parking is not easy. During peak hours they are super slow at preparing food. I suggest ordering with plenty of lead time. Consider about two hours on a Friday night, which is my experience.

This place is a definite HIT or MISS! If you are getting delivery be prepared to have something missing from your order. I say this with multiple experiences. How the F do I eat mu shu without the crepes? How the F do I eat my entrée without rice? How the F do I eat requested well done meat when it’s raw? I don’t. I’m hangry!!! The answer to these questions is «Oh wait it’s coming», «I made it for them to take but they didn’t take it», «just put it in the microwave». Really?!? You better roll your rice ass outta here!!! I have to say when the order is correct food is cool but I can easily take my ass to Panda Express and get the same food. Buyer beware!

Ok, I’ve been here easily 30 times. I normally would give this place a 5 star. It’s cheap, fast, nice staff and tons of vegan options. However, I went there this past Sunday and I ordered some vegan chicken and when I got my plate, something looked off. Half the plate were delicious looking chunks of fake meat but half of the plate looked like something I wasn’t familiar with… It was real meat. How the hell do they make a dish half vegan and half real meat? I told them and they quickly remade my dish but now I’m forever am going to be afraid that I’m going to be served non vegan food and may not go back

Another shot and I am sold. Warning: the shells left on the prawns is more common than I realized here. We’ve tried more of the menu and I loved it all. I’ll just stay away from prawns.

Six years later and nothing has changed. After seeing hundreds of Unilocalers give this place high ratings, I sadly still feel the same about the food here. #1 disappointment — ordered for delivery at 5:58PM, delivered at 7:30PM; #2 disappointment — Korean chicken wings pics look so good and some even compared them to a well-known place in SF. They tasted bland, had no flavor and were soggy. #3 disappointment — everything else we ordered, Mongolian beef, full of green onions and mu shu pork that was bland and underwhelming. #4 disappointment — $ 40 later and we’re still hungry.

I like Rice N Roll’s menu because there’s a little bit of everything. So far I’ve only had their Chinese food delivered to me from Eat24 and they’ve been pretty good so far with both delivery time and food quality. Here are a few things I’ve had from their menu: Siu Mai – Siu Mai was pretty good but a little pricey when compared to TC Pastry Basil Eggplant with Chicken and Prawns – I liked this entrée because they give you a lot of eggplant and includes a nice amount of chicken and prawns. Broccoli Beef – Not much to say about this. It’s your basic broccoli beef and it was good and worth getting if you’re craving it. Mu Shu Pork. Comes with sauce and six pancakes. – This was my favorite thing I’ve ordered from them so far. They give so much mu shu pork that the six pancakes aren’t enough which is fine since it’s also goes well with any french rolls, burrito wraps, or just over a bed of rice. It’s very versatile. I’ll definitely consider ordering from Rice N Roll again to try more things from their menu. I would like to try out their Japanese bento boxes someday since they seem to be a good deal. They’re a great option on Eat24.

Food quality has gone downhill. The delivery times were always long and now they are charging $ 1 per mile for delivery. I live 7 miles away — $ 7 is not worth it. Still the best option in Pacifica when in a crunch.

I love this place. Nuff said. Quality take out Chinese food. This is a small but popular place, so people who rate poorly based on delivery times… get the facts straight! I wonder how much productivity you can do with the amount of orders they take in with only a handful of people while keeping a filled seating room stuffed. Go order pizza next time if you blame solely just on delivery.

DELIVERYSUCKS! I ordered online over an hour ago & for the past 20 minutes I’ve been trying to call multiple times to check on my order, but the line is BUSY. Do they purposely keep the lines off the hook to avoid angry customers? I should have read through some of the negative reviews since almost all of them relate to their long delivery times. My family and kids are starving :(If they can’t keep up with the delivery service than why even offer it? I only live 5 minutes away so it doesn’t make sense. So disappointed. Will not be ordering from them again. UPDATE: So they finally answered but told me that delivery tonight was 1.5 hours. BUT, TWOHOURSLATER… Still no delivery. So I called again and this time another person answered and tried to make excuses to sound as if I should have known it would take long especially due to the weather. So I asked a time estimate and they said another extra 15 – 20 min!!! Seriously?!

Boyfriend and I just devoured our delivery. I ordered from EAT24 and our food came on time. Combination fried rice– with huge pieces of meat. I don’t know how I feel about having more meat than rice. But it was yummy. Korean wings– better than bonchon. Salt and pepper pork chops– tender meat, not too salty And there’s a lot! Good price for the portion.

It’s ok. Not really worth the money though. I paid $ 10.95 for walnuts and prawns, which weren’t de-veined or de-shelled properly. The flavor was good, a tad bit sweet. I would only order delivery if nothing else is open in the future.

We ordered so much food, they had to move us to a bigger table(apparently a recurring event for us at Asian restaurants.) Though I didn’t try it this time(& while there may not be a next time), I like the concept of vegetarian sesame«chicken» & vegetarian walnut«prawns.» Perfect for when my food psychosis is in overdrive & I’m craving Chinese! We ordered: – complimentary hot & sour soup: unappetizingly bitter with a disgusting viscosity. – roasted pork fried rice: nice aroma, good amount of flavor – sesame chicken: yay for white meat chicken, but difficult to eat without a knife which they«ran out of.» Alrighty then. – walnut prawns: so.much.mayo. Why? Shrimp itself had a kinda fishy taste. – pan fried noodle: portion big enough to solve the poverty issue in America. Unfortunately, this carb bomb was super bland. – Hunan crispy dragon beef: didn’t try but he said it had a good flavor & texture Total not including tip: $ 51 Giant portions, decent quality, but the flavors aren’t going to blow your mind.

This food is so delicious. I like to try Green Onion Pancakes whenever I eat Chinese food, and honestly this is one the best I’ve ever had! I could probably eat just the Green Onion Pancake for dinner and I would be happy. However, I do eat a balanced meal too! I like to order the veggie fried rice, and then have either the broccoli chicken or the Mongolian chicken. Both are yummy and come with a good amount of meat and veggies. I really like the atmosphere here too. Everyone is super nice and the food comes out quickly and piping hot. On weekends this place can be pretty popular, so I recommend calling ahead to find out how long the wait is! Otherwise you might find yourself just sitting in a chair watching other people eat — no one wants that!

Bye Bye R&R! 1.5 stars but rounding down. I’ve checked in/eaten here over 40 times starting in 2011. I gave this place a singe star in March of 2014 and I had one decent lunch between then and now, but it was a fluke. However as of this last time I am not going back. The only thing that kept this from being another single star was the fast, polite service. Their once excellent food is not even a shadow of itself now. Generic brown cornstarch gravy, covering their huge portion house special pan fried noodles, was completely bland and unremarkable and also was covered with tough beef slices and tender chicken slices with no flavor either. Even a dousing of soy sauce didn’t help this. No onion, no ginger, no garlic no anything to make this the remarkable dish it used to be! We returned the Beef with Broccoli because it was covered with the same tough beef slices. And even their Combination Won Ton soup was insipid, with clearly uninspired broth and old/frozen-tasting won tons in the soup. This is now American-Chinese food for people who don’t know what Chinese food should be. This is now un-bookmarked and I will not return. Was a nice ride for a while but quantity does not make for quality food here. Really REALLY disappointed how low the quality has sunk from where it started.
