We were SO FORTUNATE to be introduced to Heidi in a pinch, when we were planning our wedding. Our guests thought they were coming to an engagement dinner party but we decided «what the heck» and turned it into a surprise wedding. That meant Heidi had to be one of 6 people in on the surprise (besides the bride, groom, mother of the bride, officiant, and restaurant coordinator).
Right off the bat, Heidi was personable, reliable, and even arranged to speak with me over the phone while she was out of town at a photography convention. I spent some time on her website looking at galleries and just knew she’d be perfect for our event. From her unique angles and lenses, I couldn’t wait to see what she’d snap on our big night!
The night of our wedding, I called her to say we had to push everything back by an hour. She was completely amenable even though she was already on the road (and we happily paid for overtime per our contract). The candids she took truly captured the essence of our cocktail party, dinner, and most importantly the surprise announcement that this was not just an engagement dinner but a wedding! Within a day or two, some preview pictures were available online which was an incredible way for us to share on social media that we had gotten married. And then we were given a link to our entire edited gallery (password protected if I remember correctly or I’m sure you could ask for this) to share with everyone!
In addition to our guests who were photographed that evening, friends who viewed the gallery repeatedly commented on how fabulous our pictures were and how lucky we were to have such a talented photographer. We couldn’t agree more! Heidi is wonderful, and we completely and without reservation recommend her for your special events!
