My favorite hairstylist. Gina understands how picky I can get with my hairstyle and color. She listens to me and does exactly what I want my hairstyle to look like. I’ve been going to Gina for over 5 years now the only reason why I go to Pacifica besides visiting some gf’s. She is the best!!!

I have been going to Gina for over 2 years now. It doesn’t matter what idea I come in with, Gina has always taken my idea and provided me with a fabulous hair cut and color that is complimentary to me and my style. If you are looking for a great cut and color — Gina definitely has my recommendation!

Gina has been coloring my hair for over two years now. She came highly recommended through local mom friends of mine and I couldn’t agree more, she’s fantastic! She started with a very informative phone consultation before I made an appointment. I showed her pictures of what color I wanted which included some red (red can be a tricky color to work with) and she got me the color I wanted! She has always been careful not to overdo the red and has gradually worked up to brighter shades as requested. She’s a fun person to talk to and my time in her chair just flies by. I have complete confidence in her knowledge of color and tricks of the trade. Highly recommend!

THE BEST! And I learned about her on Unilocal and I should have written this a year ago when I first started going to have my «Gina Hair». Seriously, that is what I now call my hair! She is AMAZING! She knows how to shape, color and treat hair and her customers in the BEST way. I love that she always takes time to listen and I can always text her for suggestions.
Honestly, people come up to me all the time and ask about my hair! Never EVER has that happened before! I simply tell them «Oh, this isn’t my hair, it’s Gina’s hair» and I LOVE it! my husband is like «Wow!» YAY for me ;)

Given all the positive reviews, I was hoping for a better experience.
I showed Gina a photo of a cut I had and said I wanted my hair cut in a similar way. She seemed to understand what I wanted. I couldn’t see what she was doing (can’t see without my glasses). When she was done, my hair was nothing like the photo and it was WAY too short.
I’ve never had a stylist leave water dripping down my face after having it washed. The collar of my shirt was soaking wet.

I’ve been a client of Gina’s for about 4yrs now. I have naturally curly hair and it’s been very difficult to find the right person to cut and color my hair. when I finally found Gina, I fell in Love! my hair always looks fantastic! more important to me is Gina herself. she is warm and friendly and so helpful. she’s a therapist and a friend… I can’t ever move from Pacifica, cause I can NEVER lose my Gina!

I made an appointment with Gina to have my hair color touched up, partial highlights and a much need haircut. The location is great b/​c there is plenty of parking as the salon is located in a mini shopping mall in Pacifica. The salon/​spa is gorgeous and you can get many other treatments there.
From the time I arrived Gina was very attentive and explained everything she was doing. She took the time to ask questions to be sure I was getting the right color and cut. The end result is… I absolutely love my hair! She did everything I wanted and more… I will definitely be Gina’s long-​term client. Prices are reasonable and you definitely get what you pay for. Gina also uses a an app called «Square» that let’s you pay using your credit card which is very convenient =)

Well this review is a long time coming considering Gina has been doing my hair for over a year now ! I found Gina by chance and I am so glad I did. I move around alot for my job and the hardest thing was finding a not good hairdresser but a GREAT hairdresser like Gina. For three months my job took me down to Socal but I came back up to Pacifica for Gina’s skill. I agree with the other reviews that being able to book appointments and communicate via text is a huge plus. She always listens to what you want but adds her own creativity and insight and it pays off every time. She’s fun to spend time with as well. Let’s face it, when you get your hair done you are a captive audience so the fact that she is fun and awesome to talk to makes it even better. I recommend her highly :) Oh and the value for the money is unsurpassed.

Gina has some mad skillz! She is the only one I now trust to cut and color my hair! Her cuts are excellent and I am frequently complimented on my hair color and cut! She is unpretentious, listens, and genuinely cares to do a good job. She is knowledgeable and seeks to keep updated in technique, etc. I must also say she is simply delightful as a person and we always have a good laugh when I come in.

Gina is fantastic! I’ve used a number of different stylists, from San Francisco to San Carlos. Who would’ve thought that my favorite would end up a 3 minute drive from my house?!
As another reviewer said, Gina will book appointments via text. For someone like me who hates picking up the phone, this is a great perk! Gina is friendly and easy to talk to. If you’re in the market for a new hairdresser, definitely give Gina a try!

I have tried several stylist throughout the bay area. From pricey and sophisticated in SF, to the local «ma and pa» and now Gina. She is local (in Pacifica), very reasonable price ($ 45 a cut), and YES a great person to converse with. She cuts well but you do have to be very specific (with pictures in what you want) and no get caught in conversation as I learned the hard way this van be a big distraction. However, another plus is she flexible (with scheduling), and even will confirm your appointment via TEXT.
I have thick wavy/​curly hair that she can manage to cut, but request/​reminders for thinning are a must. In terms of not getting caught up in conversation is important bc errors have occurred. I had to go back twice for her to fix my hair. The last time she cut my side bang shorter after I had specifically told her not to.

AMAZING! my hair was pretty much ruined, and i called her last minute for help and she saw me pretty much asap, and my hair is AMAZING!!! she i AMAZZINNG, i cant recommend her enough!!! tried other options but always come back !!!

Gina has completely transformed my lifeless & dull hair into beautiful/​colorful and stylish! I couldn’t be more satisfied. If you are in the market for a new stylist I would recommend going to see her new location– Visions Spa in Pacifica. The customer is her #1 focus. Lot’s of my friends have gotten the Brazilian Blowout and their lives have been transformed! If you straighten your hair normally that’s a service to seriously consider!

Amazing, just amazing.
I just had a haircut with Gina. She is the ONLY hairstylist that LISTENS! I am very attached to my long hair and when I usually say I want only 2 inches off of my length. I mean it. Gina gave me exactly what I wanted and I can not be happier!
Gina paid so much attention and took her time, never did I once feel she was rushing with my hair.
I was so impressed I made another appointment next week for color! You rock, Gina!

Gina Arnest Rocks!!! I have had my hair styled, cut and colored by many stylists in the Bay Area. I am a licensed cosmetologist myself and have very high standards. My hair is very long and she respects it and doesn’t try to chop it off like many stylists have tried to do in the past. Gina takes her time, she’s experienced, knowledegeable and the only person I trust with my hair anymore. She treats my hair like a piece of fine silk and gives me all of her time and effort. I can’t give enough credit to this stylist. Gina works in a beautiful salon but, someday I see her owning her own shop. She is a very unique talent. Be sure and schedule an appointment early with her because she is a very busy lady.

It is always nerve wracking to find a new hair stylist. I went one gal for years, so it made it especially hard to decide to go somewhere new. Gina, was great. She took me on a walk-​in which was fabulous! She then proceeded to get an idea of what I wanted. After some friendly banter she got down to business and gave me a terrific cut. The cut was so nice I decided to come back the next week to get some color. She did such an excellent job of that too, so of course I agreed when she suggested I get highlights. The end-​product was fabulous. I get compliments every day on my hair. So, I send them to Gina too.
But the best part is that Gina has a real love for her clients and a great joi de vivre. We just hit it off easily. She cracked jokes, told stories and had me laughing the whole time. I had a wonderful experience getting my hair done. And in a small town like Pacifica, it’s great knowing she’s just down the street and so easy to get to. Because she’s local, I get great tips from her too about other good businesses or deals in town. Who would have known? Bravo, Gina! You’re the best.

Gina is my stylist, who not only gives a great hair cut, but also great conversation. She is very friendly, confident, and knowledgeable. She always offers suggestions on what I can get done and always gives me the EXACT color and cut that I want. She obviously knows what she is talking about. She always spends time texturizing and making sure the layers don’t get out of control. She always explains what she was doing, so I never feel uncomfortable. She always takes her time with my hair and never once have I felt like she was rushed.
Without fail, my hair always looks gorgeous and sexy when Gina gets done with it.
I highly recommend Gina to my friends and family. What can I say, she’s awesome.

I have my hair done by Gina. and she is the ABSOLUTE best! I’ve had my hair cut, colored, and highlighted all by Gina. I had long hair and recently wanted my hair cut shorter, about 5 inches off, she was thrilled to do it! and I’m SO happy with it! I LOVE IT!
Also need to mention my 3 kids go to her too. Recently my 16 yr old said I like how Gina straightens my hair and how it looks when she does it!
