It’s wonderful bakery. Warm place, delicate and fresh cookies, very nice traditional design and super sweet owner… Good luck

Super cute place with delicious food. I got a brownie to treat myself after a tough day and it was not only the brownie that made me feel better. The person who sold it to me was so friendly and nice and offered his suggestion. Definitely will come back for a soup and/or sandwich sometime. Soon. With friends.

This place is really really good. The pasties are flaky and delicious, the cakes and pies are flawless, and they really switch it up with new delights regularly. Most delicious bakery this side of town, in my opinion.

Lousy all the way around. The latte was cold. The pastry we got, we wanted it warmed up which they said they did but it was cold. Not a good experience at all. Won’t go there ever again.

Aprés volunteer at SRF Lake Shrine, Janise serves up a tasty cup o jo– they use Illi beans for their brew. The carrot raisin walnut bread was the perfect afternoon compliment to fuel my 50 mile moto ride through the canyons. Thanks K, Janise and all the staff here. Classy as usual. The pot pies are still delicious but sell out so order early.

This place should be great. It really should. The chicken pot pie is excellent and the location is ideal. Unfortunately, their service is extremely poor and their menu is laughable. Twice I have caught them double charging my card. They have repeatedly recommended the ham and cheese croissant as «the best on their menu and in LA,» in such a snooty fashion that you can’t help but want to try such a delicacy. Sadly, after every such claim, they are«unfortunately sold out.» That’s right: they suggest an item that they never have. Amazing. Their coffee is pretty good but overpriced. Fresh squeezed OJ is $ 4 for 6oz. Scones are dry; muffins are B+. Ah well. The saddest thing in life is wasted talent.

The chicken pot pie is as amazingly delicious as all the other reviewers would suggest — I chowed it down in like 5 mins! The chicken is tender and crust is just the right amount of flakiness — combined with the vegetables inside it makes for a perfect lunch! I also chowed down the triple chocolate cake though the slice is so big you could easily share with two people. Everyone there is super friendly and patient while I ponder the various breakfast/lunch/dinner options. All round great experience! I wish there are more seatings available so one can enjoy the meal there though.

Chicken pot pie and Chinese Chicken Salad are my favorites, both around $ 8.00 which makes them a good value for the area. And just about the only place for lunch or to grab an early dinner on this corner next to PCH when you want something more grown-up than what Jack’s or Subway have to offer – it is a hidden secret I missed after many visits to the Vons, turned on only by the Unilocal reviews. I don’t usually buy sweets but will have to after reading some of these reviews.

This is the best bakery ever. From the quiches, chicken pot pies, sour dough breads to the most yummy desserts you could ask for. Jerry makes the most delicious soups, chili and amazing complete dinners to order and pick — up or to be delivered. I’ve never had a meal that wasn’t superb. Kim owns it and is the brains behind the ovens. She has a wonderful staff and her Mom is a sweetheart. My favorite coffee and machine is there, too. It’s truly a treat and worth stopping in. You won’t be sorry!!! Idell J

I would have never tried this bakery shop but the other day my contractor showed up with a chicolate scone and apple cupcake and let me tell ya, I usually hate scones. They are usually too dry for me to eat. But when broke off a piece of this one, it was so moist and a bit crunchy around the edges and so un resistable that i had to eat the whole thing. I didnt know where he got it and thought it was from Starbucks. I had to call him to het the address and when I got there on Sunday they were closed. First thing Monday I came in and got my scone and noticed delicious pot pies and so much goodness I have to come back thus afternoon and get one before they sell out of them. I might call and ask them to hold one for me.

I just had a slice of the lemon strawberry cake from here. It was amazing! Everything from this bakery is delicious. Also try the scones. The fig and blueberry are particularly amazing!!! Totally worth the drive from the West side!

Fig and walnut scones were the best scones I’ve ever had! Moist with huge pieces of fig and crunchy bits of walnuts! Also a huge fan of the rum bundt cake! It’s perfect for holidays and my family was also a huge fan!

Tuesday nights dinner was delicious! The beef bourguoinne was to die for. The crust was so flaky, lots of flavorful meat inside. The apple vinaigrette was so fresh and light. I would never have time to make this dish. Love this place.

I seriously cannot believe I have not reviewed this place. I live right by here, and if you too, live in the Palisades… You’ll know that a 5 star review for something in the Palisades is not usually trusted! … Unless it’s a 5 star review of K Bakery. When I first stumbled upon this place on Unilocal,I was skeptical. We go to the Dry Cleaners next door on occasion but we never ever thought to stop by K’s. How good could it possibly be, I thought to myself. Well looks are indeed deceiving. It’s a small little hole in the wall grab & go bakery with two little tables for dining in, if you wish. The first things I’ve ever tried here were the Chicken Pot Pie & the Lemon Bar and they both remain high in my top list of favorites. The Chicken Pot Pie is without a doubt the best I’ve ever had(I’m not exaggerating here). The crust is THE perfect texture — buttery with just the perfect ratio of flakiness to denseness. The ingredients are some of the highest quality I have ever seen. Huge chunks of chicken breast, butternut squash, vegetables, potatoes… It is the most delicious chicken pot pie you will ever eat, please trust me on this one. The Lemon Bar is beyond delicious and probably my favorite dessert they carry. It is SO lemon-y(if you know what I mean), with the powdered sugar adding the perfect touch of sweetness. The crust is once again, so perfect and will melt in your mouth with just the right amount of dense. I also LOVE their Pasta Marinara. It is so simple but somehow so perfect. The spaghetti is cooked al dente and the sauce is the most perfect tomato sauce I have ever had. The truth is, I’d say 99% of the food /desserts I’ve had here, I’ve absolutely loved. I definitely cannot say that about too many places. Their menu changes on a daily basis and things sell out very fast(the pot pies are typically sold out by mid day). They also have a dinner program where you can order dinner for your family to pick up on the way home from work. It is extremely reasonable and you can pick up a menu in store for the week ahead, to place your orders accordingly. I tried this on a night where they were doing Pork Chops with Caramelized Onions & Apple Chutney and I can safely say it was one of the best pork chop combinations I have ever had, restaurants included. I have also catered from K’s on two different occasions and dare say with confidence that, it will be hard to find anything as delicious AND reasonable as K’s that could even come close in comparison. They even lent us their Chaffing Dishes for our event and took our catering order within that same week. I would definitely work with them again, but till then, you know I’ll be stopping in here every once in a while!

Just got coffee. I take it strong and black. Their machine grinds the beans and brews them for each cup. It was strong and black like I like it.

One day my co-worker and I went to eat at the little Mexican rest. and we discovered the K Bakery. Boy, what a discovery! I love to bake and any1 that knows me knows that ain’t no lie. So, when I find a bakery that really wets my appetite. I luv it. K Bakery does just that. So of course with all good things… they should be done in moderation. I make an exception for this place!

I don’t think I could say enough nice things about this place! I work across the street — surrounded by Subway, Jack in the Box and Vons, this little establishment is basically the lone ray of sunshine in the area. I haven’t had one bad or mediocre thing here. Want something savory? Try the chicken pot pies, which are pretty much there every day. Flaky crust and delicious, traditional pot pie filling. Or their soup of the day. They also have dinner menus, which change daily(I haven’t tried this but they all sound mouth-watering). Want something sweet? OMG! Best chocolate chip cookies and brownies. Cinnamon buns. Muffins. Cakes. One of my all-time faves is the sea salt chocolate caramel bars. And there is at least one gluten free option every day as well. Today our office enjoyed a birthday cake that we ordered the day before — triple layer chocolate cake with mocha buttercream frosting. Everyone freaked out about it! I love going in and seeing the trays of baked good cooling off or a pot of something bubbling on the stove. Staff is always friendly and it really looks like everyone pitches in! If one of the cashiers isn’t there, the owner, Kim, or the executive chef will patiently take your order. I’m sure they’ll outgrow the space soon — really a great little spot for some yummy, home-made comfort food!
