Let’s say first impressions are worth millions. I have walked by this establishment before without noticing, and finally noticing it and walking in I was kind of bummed because I have been missing out on some really impressively made Italian cookies… and to top it off I ordered a Mocha and that too was delicious as well. The place is so cute all the way down to the chalkboard painted wall. How they don’t have a line out the door is beyond me. The young girl working there was very sweet and helpful she deserves a raise because the mocha was perfect and I’m SUPER picky when it comes to my mochas. I’m planning on being a regular here now . The cookies all the way down to the very idea is excellent!

They have a good selection of Italian desserts. Biscotti was definitely on our list to try(it is after all a Biscotteria), and we tried the plain and the apricot — both very good. The very friendly girl working there was just finishing making cannoli, so we also tried that — it was fabulous! We will definitely be coming back for more cannolies!

The real deal… Emi’s cookies are absolutely amazing and are true traditional Italian cookies. We love Emi’s cookies so much that we had her prepare platters for our wedding. The cookies were a bigger hit than our wedding cake and the only downside was that we didn’t order enough for everyone to take a plate home too! We highly recommend her fresh cannolies too. They are by far the best in the Monterey Peninsula!

Emi Biscotti are so fresh and tasty, loved the cranberry pistachio and the little sesame covered orange flavored cookies, perfect with tea. Great selection of coffee drinks, too. Friendly service by Emi.

Ahhh! Just what I needed. A midday pick me up, a hot doppio espresso and a fresh apricot biscotti. So good. This is a super sweet family affair kinda place. Small in size, but big in freshness. The cookies looked delicious and the biscotti we tasted were perfect. They have all your caffeinated favorites here. Please go by and buy, support local small business.

Tried Emi’s based on Unilocaler Jana M’s review and it was right on all counts. These delights have to be savored slowly to appreciate, as Emily is really an outstanding pastry chef, and she dosen’t take shortcuts on quality. Be prepared for a little butter. I don’t know if a chocolate coconut macaroon is an old Italian recipe but is sure was delicious. The biscotti which we took home showed their Italian heritage.

This is the place to go after your workout and you are feeling really good about your bod. Emily uses a lot of butter in her creations and it shouws in the luscious tastes of these Italian delights. We stopped in after running and working off a lot of calories, and then proceeded to put them all right back on, but it was worth it. The apricot biscotti were delicious and we then had to try the almond ones, just as good.

Yippee. Emi’s new location. Even closer to the house. Cookies, barista, special request Old school flavors and textures in all of her Italian delights. Don’t miss this little gem of tradition on Forest across from Chase bank. Mangia Bene!

Among freebies that were distributed to the Natividad Medical Center staff from the farmer’s market there, my fiancé got a cellophane bag filled with Emi’s cookies and biscotti. Absolutely delicious delectable cookies. The best biscotti I’ve ever had in my life. So, I went to Emi’s Biscotteria the next day and bought two cellophane bags filled with cookies and biscotti. Before I had Emi’s biscotti, I was never a huge biscotti fan because I’ve found that biscotti often has a hard stale quality. Emi’s biscotti is different — firm and crisp but yielding nicely to the teeth, somewhat moist, and just scrumptious; it was a revelation of what real biscotti is.

Is there a singular for amaretti? Anyway, we had one amaretti and one pizzelle. Both were delicious. The amaretti was chewy, moist and slightly spicy. The pizzelle(like a thin, crisp waffle) was light & tasty, sprinkled with just a dusting of powdered sugar. A nice snack.

These homemade Italian cookies were very delicious and a perfect dessert. We bought one of each and our favorites were Amaretti, lemon, and coconut macaroon. They were all extremely moist and fresh. It’s located inside a plaza so make sure you use google to find the address, the Unilocal map took us to the wharf. Very reasonably prices, less than a dollar each cookie.

Another great find thanks to Groupon! This quaint little Italian Bakery was a great find — and only thanks to Groupon. They are located in a tiny little spot out of the way and it’s really hard to find, we actually drove past it twice. But they are on Grand Avenue right behind the Museum. Delicious cookies! They had a wonderful selection — and I highly recommend patronizing this merchant. Spread the Word! The signage they have out front is very hard to read and you can accidentely go right past it — buy they are working on it! I took my adopted-mom there and she’s lived in PG for 65 years — works in PG — actually goes to the fabric shop that’s right in the same building — and never knew it was there. They just opened the brick & mortar business this last September 2012 — but hardly anyone knows they are there! Great Cookies! Great Service! Another Two Thumbs Up! The Lemon Drop Cookies and the Coconut Macroons were the best!

Come on down to the Old Monterey Farmer’s Market and be sure to stop by Emi’s dessert fortress. Meet the wonderful pastry/cookie maker, Emily, and indulge your senses in some fresh savory Italian desserts. Emily is one sweet lady with an unwavering passion to bring her long-standing solicitious Italian delights, whose lore and recipes date back many generations, to other families to share together. After noshing on some Ol’ Farmer’s favorites(Babaloo’s, Petra’s, Monterey Bay Calamari, Maha’s, India Gourmet, Yamaguchi’s and Roti’s Rotissiere), be sure to visit Emi’s sweet stall for a few delectable treats. Emi’s features fresh cannoli’s, apricot and citrus-almond biscottis, amaretti’s(my fave), chocolate balls, sesame and s-shaped cookies and wedding cookies. The amaretti’s are some of the best cookies I’ve sunk my teeth in. I just ate one this morning and I coudn’t even wait for the coffee to finish brewing before polishing off the first one. These perfectly light, soft and moist almond-infused cookies with a hint of spice will start your day off just right. My mom LOVES the unique-flavored biscotti’s made from all-natural ingredients with the perfect textural blend(crispy outside, moist and infinitely delicious). You can also find Emi’s treats at the Café Trieste. As summer gets into swing, be sure to stop by Emi’s for the perfect summer soirée sweet or gift for that special occasion.
