John is fantastic! Great customer service, clean, efficient, and very positive and outgoing. I called around and his rates were about the same as others. Ultimately, I’m glad I decided to go with him! He’s also located right by me (Corral de Tierra area)! Will definitely keep him in mind.

While shopping for a fireplace insert for my new home, I was advised to find a chimney sweep. Everyone we talked to recommend Cypress Sweeps. I was expecting Dick Van Dyke from Mary Poppins but met someone even friendlier.
John is the owner and usually works as a firefighter. He’s knowledgable about fire code, green/​efficient ways to heat your home and it’s just a plus that he likes animals. Every fireplace store I visited had recommended him.
