Connolly Heating And Air Conditioning

Had new AC done by Norm and Connolly, then fabrication of a new whole house filter system and now Sean came to change filter and do general maintenance which keeps the system up to 100% condition. Nothing but excellent service. To say I trust Connolly is the best compliment I can give.

The heat pump at our restaurant didn’t work. We had two other companies look at it, and both said that we’d have to replace the compressor for about $ 3000. Sean from Connolly came in, diagnosed a broken capacitor and replaced it for $ 300. Problem solved! This is a company that seems to know its stuff and tries to do right by the customer.

Connolly does great work and are trustworthy, you can’t get better than that. We had Norm out to our house twice over the last two years and each time, he helped us understand the deficiencies in the way the hvac system was originally setup. He didn’t press to do more than was necessary though, and each time did the minimum to help things get running again. We just pulled the trigger and decided to have the hvac system rehauled and had the work done by Connolly. They did the work on time and with high quality. They did discover more issues which increased the cost, but they kept us informed the entire time and helped us understand our choices. I highly recommend Connolly for any major or minor HVAC work!

Norm at Connolly Heating and Air is fantastic! Called because I thought my AC was broken. Norm sat on the phone with me trouble shooting some of the possibilities of what could be wrong and we got it back working! Took his time when he could have charged me to send someone out! Very impressed with how honest and professional this business is. I will absolutely be calling Connolly when in need of service in the future!!!

Air conditioning stopped working on one of the hottest days of the year — that day just happened to be a Friday night. I had another contractor come out and he did minimal testing and then told me that the compressor was bad and he could not get it working on the weekend.
After he left I called a Connolly, a Carrier dealer since a blown compressor is a warranty issue and the unit is only 5 years old. I was hesitant to pay for another service call just to get bad news and he told me that he did was not convinced it was a bad compressor. He was very patient with me and seem to defuse my frustration of having a fairly new AC that was not working on a very hot day
His tech Danny was able to come early the next day and diagnose the issues with the unit and get it running again. Danny found that the capacitor installed by the toerh contractor was miswired the hot wires were crossed and that is what was tripping the breaker. Furthermore he checked the refrigerant levels and found that they were too high and that led to too much head pressure and caused the capacitor to blow on a hot day. Once he was able to correctly rewire the capacitor the unit began running again.
Thanks to Connolly and Danny, we are sitting at very comfortable temperature now.

Norm and his crew installed a new high efficiency furnace and a central AC system for me in September. He did a great job using the existing duct work and adding new duscts and returns where required. Norm’s prices were very competitive, the work first-​rate and he even through in a new NEST thermostat to thank us for the business. Highly recommended.

Our furnace started making horrible noise at night and we shut it down. Dropped to 50 degrees in the house. Next day made emergency call to Connolly. He said he’ll come over in the morning. Waited til 1:30 PM and he didn’t show and didn’t pick up our calls. He finally answered and apologized saying he was running late, and said he’ll come late afternoon. Comes late afternoon, no show or no call. And he didn’t pick up our calls either. We froze the whole day in the house waiting for him!
Unbelievable!
We suffered through the night and next day started searching for someone to come fix the heater. Connolly never called to say why he didn’t show up!

We just moved to area and needed to replace our 40 year old furnace and air conditioner. Norm Connolly was highly recommended by a co-​worker after we interviewed 2 other companies. When the estimate came in, were able to schedule installation for 2 days later. The price was comparable to the competition. They arrived at 9am and didn’t leave til about 7pm but finished it all in one day. The crew was super friendly and very hard workers. They even offered to grab me lunch when they went out.
We have had so many bad service experiences, I feel lucky to have settled on these guys. Highly Recommended.
