Second best falafel over rice in all five boroughs. Oh really Mia Halal Food? I love Mia Halal Food.

My last and final review for this restaurant. I left 3 stars before specifically because of the food that they served and lack of good service. However, I had went the other day with my friends who were ordering. I had no intention of ordering but I was just waiting for my friends to get their food and leave. And while I was waiting, the same guy that has been rude and inappropriate to me the in my last few experiences, came out of the kitchen, specifically pointed at me, said «cancel his order» and that I’m not welcome there anymore. I wasn’t ordering anything and gladly left. But to see an employee specifically point me out for no reason and antagonize me in front of the whole restaurant is ridiculous. They never take full responsibility of their actions of the past. They never make the effort to fix a simple problem. They are the perfect example of absolutely APPALLING customer service. I’m gladly never coming back to this restaurant. I hope that customers can relate to the same issue I have been experiencing for the past 2 years because things like this need to be addressed immediately.

Below average halah joint, not acceptable for Queens. The food is just alright. It is open late which earns the 3^rd star as there are not many options after midnight. There are many much better places throughout this great boro.

DISGUSTING WORKERS
He gave me an chicken burger all broken. When i asked can I switch the bread he sayss to me its good bread thats why it broke and never changed the bread. The chicken and rice made me sick. bad service disgusting burgers.

The best halal food I’ve had ever. Always great. The customer service is always on point.
It’s open late and it’s extremely satisfying. I always go with a group of friends when we want halal food even though its quite a drive, its always worth it at the end.

Been going there 2yrs now and not been disappointed yet. Maybe if customers acted nice and spoke nice they’d get better service and better food. I work p/​t at a restaurant and one I know for a fact is to never offend your waitress nor the chef. on that note: the food has always been great. No complaints, my friends whom I take there love the food so far as well

Nothing fantastic, I prefer halal guys. Restaurant is not very clean and they have rediculous card fees! It cost me $ 3 extra just to use my card :(. It took they guy about 7 mins to prepare the food but it was «fresh» no line and 4, 2 person tables so don’t plan on staying. The hot sauce is not hot at all so don’t get your hopes up if you’re looking for zing. I’m probably never going to come back for the distance I drove I can get way better halal at half the distance. I’m a little disappointed.

The food is nasty. I had the chicken it was like cardboard. And the rice had no flavor. The woman behind the counter is nasty also. Never again.

Go to spot for halal food. Fast cheap and tasteful! Some carts don’t use quality meat but these guys actually do. The white sauce is so good. Open ²⁴⁄₇ so whenever in the mood always go here

This fucking place is suck and the people who own this place is the worst people. .they raised the price for every single item and they give you very little food for a price of $ 8 so I don’t know y people go there anymore it’s not worth going there please do not goooooo…

If you haven’t tried Halal food yet I suggest this be the place to try it. I see this place becoming the next Chinese Food type store where you see then everywhere.
They has an A health rating. Food is always fresh and there’s tons of choices.
I also like that they keep the white and hot sauces behind the counter for sanitary reasons.
Additionally the price is fair.

I ordered food and found maggots in the meat. Disgusting! That was a terrible experience also do not go there if you see the fat lady working there in front! She cant get orders right.

I really like this place, sometimes I even go out of my way to pick up some food! I usually get chicken over rice with pita bread and I like to add a lot of white sauce and that green hot sauce. I LOVE that hot sauce! The rice is good and so is the salad. I’ve tried the lamb and it was ok. They have a lot of other food options that I’ve never tried but I’m sure I’ll just be sticking to the chicken over rice :)
If you’re not in a rush I would sit down to enjoy the food while it’s hot. They always have these Arabic music videos playing but after a few trips I realized they replay the same clips over and over lol

I’ve been coming here for a while now. The food is pretty darn good and the prices are very fair. The only issue I have is the food always gives me stomach pains and makes me run to the bathroom. Sorry guys, but it’s the truth and you should know.
My husband has the same issue. Once, We actually timed it to see if it was their food and let’s say thank goodness we have two bathrooms at home. He continued to eat from here until he got the worse pain in his stomach and refused to eat here again. He was in denial until then. We thought it can’t be food poison because it’s not a constant running to the bathroom issue.
I don’t know if it’s an ingredient they use or what but we took a long break from eating here. The last time I ate here about two months ago, my chicken with rice had pieces of bone fragments which grossed me out.
Overall the food is good and the place looks clean. Anyone had the same stomach pain issue?

I was extremely calm throughout the whole process when speaking to your staff. Like I mentioned before, I have never experienced any sort of problem prior to this and I have been a loyal customer to this store for the last year. I don’t think you realize what I’m trying to address here. As a business owner, it’s to your best understanding to address the attitude of your staff towards customers. I didn’t even raise my voice at your employee. I was using capital letters to emphasize the frustration I had felt when your staff was being completely incompetent. It’s sad to see that when a customer has a frustration towards an employee, you decide to push the customer away and ask them not to come anymore instead of addressing the issue of your staff member. And maybe he is a good employee behind the scenes, however, as a business owner, you ought to take full responsibility of the attitude your staff holds towards customers. Seeing your response really disappoints me however, I hope you take this into consideration to at least try and teach better etiquette to your employees. As a customer I should not have to decide between good service and good food. That is the difference between a 3 star restaurant and a 5 star restaurant.

FALSE ADVERTISING: I ordered Falafel over rice and received Lamb. I demanded a refund and the manager refused. I told them I was a vegetarian but she still refused. They say money back guarantee but they lie.

Went there for dinner about 6pm and when I got there I thought it would be average, but little did I know that I’d be wrong. The food was great! I had chicken and rice. A side salad came with the order and I asked for white sauce. The staff was also very friendly and professional. I had no complaints about this place. I would definitely recommend it to everyone. I have already been telling my family members about it. Go and you won’t be disappointed.

Typical halal cart. Good, cheap halal food that will do the job when you’re hungry and in a hurry. Fairly clean, never seen unsanitary conditions when I am being served.

Chicken over rice for the win! My boo brought me here for some quick eats and it was delicious. They put a good ratio of rice to meat and dont overdo the sauce. Its good halal in my opinion!

Great lamb gyros. Super cheap, big portions, and lots of choices if gyros aren’t your thing. That hot sauce is pretty hot, but I still like it and put a bunch on my gyro.

Surprisingly the cheeseburger is delicious. Their special sauce in it is so good. Give it a chance, it’s only $ 3 for the burger.

Highly recommend this place for halal food.
I ordered the mix (chicken&lamb) with rice for $ 6.50. The portions are smaller than the other places but it is enough to fill you up. The salad is refreshing and the rice & meats are extremely moist! Deliciousness in every bite! :)
