Liquor Town & Fine Wines

I luv visiting this place. They used to be across the street but; moved to the opposite side. I’m glad they stayed around to a bigger place! I’ve been too alot of liquior stores, so I no my prices and whether the deals are good or not. Their prices are GREAT! I buy variety of wine and alcohol. They have a nice selection and occasionally will have a wine taste tasting. Just ask for the dates and they will be glad to let you know. If u have a large selection to carry out to your car, sometimes the cashier will asked (depending which one it is) do you need assistane/​HELP to your car and that’s a nice suggestion. I’ve recommend them to friends and they’ve also loved the prices. Check them out !!

I love this place! They have a great variety of wine, with the nicer more expensive bottles up on the 2^nd floor. The staff are knowledgeable and helpful, and if they don’t have what you are looking for in stock they take down your number and call when it’s in. Great service, great business!

Large store with many different brands of all the favorite liquors. Best part is that just about all bottles are a buck or 2 cheaper than pretty much everyplace else. My place of choice for booze.

Rows upon rows of just about every conceivable beverage of alcoholic persuasion, minus beer set the stage for good things to come. Vodka, gin, scotch and so much more waited patiently in bottles that had this former bartender scratching Hus head as I hadn’t poured nor consumed many of these.
Today’s beverage hinted toward white wine as the seafood was just purchased and ideas of preparation began swimming in my head. Trebbiano? Savangion Blanc? Milder palates dictated a buttery Pino Grigio finish, there must have been nine choices of Italian, DOC magnums alone.
If your overly not versed in the world of a particular wine, you can’t miss the mark by just grabbing any random one, because with the quality Liquor Town offers, anyone of the labels will reveal a of a nice bottle.

Drinkers Haven

You will often find multiple liquors/​wines on sale at any given point in time. It isn’t highly significant, but some of the alcohol typically ranges from 10%-25% from all makes and brands.
There is a large variety to choose from. In the half dozen visits I have made so far, I have yet to purchase the same bottle/​brand ranging from known brands to obscure brands (typically vodka/​tequila).
Liquor Town has a large section of wine in the back I have yet to visit, but considering the size of the front section (hard alcohols) I assume it is approximately the same size.
Typically on Saturdays they provide small tastings of liquors/​wines they are promoting. All you have to do is take a picture with the booze for Facebook. I have purchased a bottle of the specific alcohol on occasion.
Parking depends on luck, most of the time the lot is rather empty and you will find parking easily, but on occasion the parking lot is packed with a line waiting to get in. It is rather easy to miss during your first visit, since it is on the small side.
The prices are very competitive and cheaper compared to most liquor stores I have visited. This along with the large selections makes it a place to visit on the way to a party, event, or just because.

Love their selection, love the price and one of the few places in Queens that has parking!

One of the two liquor stores in my rotation. Huge store with it’s own wine section which takes up half the store. The liquors are right when you enter to the right. The 2^nd floor is all wine.
Staff here is always friendly and very helpful. They usually have a floater around the store to help if you need it. They always seem to have sampling going on here on the weekends. I rarely have an issue with parking but parking is limited. There are small lots on boths sides of the store.

They have a great selection of wines and liquors. The staff is helpful but they could be a little more knowledgable about the wines.
Prices here are very reasonable than other stores in the area. Parking is a plus, always spots available.

$ 20 dollar minimum to pay with credit card… and will never accept anything less than that… very annoying. and inconvenient. will look for more customer friendly place. and i am pretty sure it’s also illegal. the law only allows $ 10 dollar minimums.

They carry my favorite Rum from Guatemala, Ron Zacapa! So 5 stars just for that. The wine and liquor selection is huge, I mean you can get a small shopping cart for your boozing pleasures.

If you are a booze hound, this is your place. They have a very large selection of well priced spirits and liquors.
If you are a wine connoisseur, keep walking. Their wine selection isn’t great. The «fine» in their «fine wine» selection is clearly subjective.
That being said, if you are looking for box wine or White Zinfandel, you will be in hog heaven!

I love walking into this place too actually. It is a ten minute or so walk from my crib. I can’t say that I am not a heavy drinker (lol) but I just don’t seem to go here enough to buy alcohol. I am in the mood for some wine in the near future. I do like the new location, they moved from across the street from a smaller spot. Last thing I believe I purchased here was Skyy Vodka the 1.75 L bottle and it cost about $ 22 or $ 23 after a small discount. I still have some left actually at home but yeah I need to re-​up my alcohol cabinets. It is not cheap here though, I can officially say that. Places I used to head to in the bronx are cheaper.

I love walking into the place, it has a massive selection and is always welcoming. I never feel uncomfortable asking for suggestions or help, and if I was a heavy drinker, I would come here ALL the time, but for the occasional quench I do pop over here to alwasy try something new!

I stopped by here today to purchase a few bottles of wine, They have a nice selection, and the prices are good. I will return.
