It’s always fast. The hot & sour soup is terrific. Not too salty not too gelatinous, hearty with generous vegetables. The fried chicken always tastes fresh. General Tso, orange beef or chicken, sesame chicken, pepper steak and chicken, curry chicken, kung pao chicken etc I’ve had them all. All great. No it’s not like an authentic Chinese place in flushing main st or Chinatown, it’s not supposed to be. This is ozone park and it’s a quick delivery take out joint in the hood. They are a polite family that owns and operates the resataurant 365 a year. Their delivery is fast and punctual.

We ordered here on a Monday afternoon after our standby, Kings Garden was closed. We ordered Chicken and Broccoli, Chicken Lo Mein and Crab Rangoon. The food was okay but not really «Oh, this is soo good». The Lo Mein and Chicken and Broccoli was a bit greasier than I would have liked. The crab rangoon had more veggies that cream cheese filling. The prices are decent but I am in no rush to go out of my way to order from here again.

I live about 20 – 23 blocks away from this place and still order from them even though there are places a lot closer to my house. John is a good cook and so is his wife! You will find me having dinner here at least once a week. They have an excellent Mixed Vegetables with garlic sauce. The Hunan Duck is no joke either. And I wash it all down with a nice Hot and Sour Soup! They make the soup fresh each and every time. Unlike other places that make a large batch. Not really an eat in area even though they have two tables. I usually take the food home or have it delivered.

Here’s the thing; if you’re looking for really tasty but totally fried and not at all authentic, fast food Chinese food, then this is the place. And every now and them you need really tasty but totally fried and not at all authentic, fast food Chinese food. I wouldn’t feed this to my kid, but on a rough day I truly enjoy their General Tso’s shrimp. VERY tasty sauce and filling. Three stars for taste alone! The place looks awful, so you might just walk in & walk out. Delivery is the way to go!
