Russell Stover seasonal candy has long been a guilty pleasure for my husband and me. Who can turn down a coconut nest at Easter, Halloween dark chocolate red velvet pumpkin, etc? Recently the Walgreen’s chain has raised their prices on these fun holiday treats so it was a delight to finally stop in at this Russell Stover store we’ve passed a billion times, and find our favorites at very low prices. Some of the clearance candy is honestly ridiculously inexpensive here. The women working here are pretty aggressively friendly and definitely seem to promote a sense of excitement from the minute you walk in(and are handed a sample), but it is not to the point of them being obnoxious about it. They sell ice cream and fudge too, but we focused on prepackaged Christmas candy and came home with a big bag for under six bucks. They have sales going all of the time. Everything(even clearance) was within date by at least a couple of months.
