They moved!!! Finally! After being disappointed at their old place I decided to visit OBB at their new location. This place is definitely a step up from their old spot. It’s very spacious, open, and clean. We stopped in on a Sunday afternoon to find it «packed». I put quotes around packed because when we walked in it seemed like no one was there however almost every table was filled and we waited for a spot at the bar. Maybe they put more tables out at night on the weekends but they could add so many more seats! We had the groupon which included 2 flights of 5(we added a 6th to the flights for just another $ 2 each), 2 empty pint glasses, and an empty growler to fill on your return, which I plan on doing. All for $ 30! Nice deal. I loved the oatmeal stout that might have been my favorite one there. Their pumpkin was also very good but it isn’t the season for that. The bartenders were quite busy but they were very attentive and nice. They had good knowledge of the beers if you are inexperienced with the craft beer world. Since they serve no food, they allow you to bring in food/have it delivered. Also, if you have a puppy bring it! I love puppies and so does OBB. I’ll definitely have to come back here I enjoyed their beers a lot and since it is an islanders bar(boo) I’ll have to bring some Rangers fans to invade for a Rangers/Islanders game!

This place is amazing! We came for the grand opening of the new location and it did not disappoint. As soon as you walk in, the tanks are on your right and set the mood perfectly: We Brew Beer. And damn good beer at that. The beer was delicious! My favorite was the Flat Cap mild — a coffee flavored ale. AMAZING! As an IPA fan, I was also not disappointed by the Dry Hopped IPA. There were ALOT of people there(good sign!), yet we were able to get drinks easily. The bartenders were very attentive and friendly. The place is huge! So we had no problem finding a place to sit or stand. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be visiting again in the near future.

Finally the new brewery opened couple doors down from the old and small watering hole down the road. I was so excited to finally try out the new and improved Oyster Bay Brewery just a short five minute walk from the train station. The old brewery was extremely small but still had the craft quality of all their beers. The new brewery is much much larger with much much more life much much cleaner if you get the trend. They don’t serve food so we stopped at Sweet tomato about a block away to grab lunch before we stopped in. We came in about 2 o’clock on a Sunday and the brewery was packed. The new space has so much lighting, four large TVs at the bar, and plenty of seating with boardgames and tables and chairs. The flight of five is $ 10 for the flight of six is $ 12 to start your day off. We had a Groupon for a flight of two as well as 2 pint glasses and an empty growler. We had this Groupon for a while now and thought it would expire while the new brewery was under renovation so I called ahead to be sure we were good. They shared me no problem they’re honoring all Groupon’s and as we could see while we were at the brewery almost 99% of people has Groupon’s. The Groupon only includes the flight at five so for an extra two dollars we added on another beer and made it six. My girlfriend and I enjoy craft beer and all the taste and complexities that come with it. My dad joined us and him on the other hand enjoys the simple longer but not much hops taste. He didn’t enjoy the flight as much as we did. We loved most of our beers and both can agree that the oatmeal stout as well as the honey were the two top beers of the day. They only had two bartenders and probably could’ve used another but both were very nice and willing to help anyone who is new to beer. On that’s four flatscreen TVs behind the bar they had whatever sports you want, just ask and they will change it for you. The new brewery is a big improvement from their old location. Oyster Bay brewery has always made great year however seven dollars for a pint at the brewery is a little much. Most breweries will do a pint for five at most six. The old brewery had free popcorn and I thought the new one would continue the trend but another little disappointment in an overall great day.

Don’t even bother. We had the Groupon for a sampler of 10, growler bottle &2 pint bottles. No ambiance whatsoever — concrete floors with junk all over the floors. No pictures on the walls. All barstools rock since the floor is so uneven. The growler looked like a peroxide bottle with a teenie white cap. When we voiced our comments — staff agreed with us. Each beer type was worse than the next. No food is served — a menu for the diner next door was on the table. No explanation of what each beer is — just a rocky table & stools. Since I paid for it I would usually finish it — but we left the bulk of the beers on the table. Like I said from the beginning — don’t waste your time. Go to the beer distributor & bring home a beer that’s good. Shame on you Oyster Bay brewing Co.

This place is where it’s at for Oyster Bay! Great crowd with a nice mix of people. Place was comfortably busy, with plenty of places to sit or stand in this new location. Décor is industrial with the tanks right there, and 4TV’s! Above all, we were largely impressed with the lineup of beers, a huge variety and they were really very good. All ‘crafty’ yet drinkable-which they pride themselves on. We loved the Barn Rocker and IPA. We brought our own cheese platter and enjoyed it with our flights. Friendly staff with quick service. We took a Barn Rocker growler home. If you’re in Oyster Bay, you must stop here. Good people and great beers. We’ll be back!

I was at Hurricanes in Garden City over the weekend and tried Oyster Bay Brewing Company’s Honey Ale. Let me tell you, I’m an IPA kind of guy, but this beer was incredible. It was smooth, not too filling, and something that you could drink all night. I’m glad to see local breweries in restaurants like Hurricanes. If you stop by Hurricanes, definitely try the Honey Ale; you will not be disappointed. I’m really excited to try Oyster Bay’s other brews and hope to see them in more restaurants around the Island. They have not given me any reason not to try them. Keep up the great work guys. –Greg
