Truly one of the best meals I have ever had. A match for any of the meals I’ve had in Italy. Fresh ingredients, simply prepared, by a chef who cares. The meat/cheese platter was big enough for 5 to share. We then moved on to appetizers — the chef does magical things with eggs! Lasagna was a big hit for entrée time, but the seafood risotto was the star. Somehow we managed to try a selection of their delicious desserts. Can’t wait to return!

I’m almost hesitant to post a review as I want to keep this new restaurant a secret for myself and my friends, however I predict It will soon be regarded as a destination restaurant in Oyster Bay. The kitchen has just started serving dinner in a soft launch(limited menu) and you can’t possibly go wrong with anything you order. The food is fresh, authentic, Italian cuisine and it’s incredibly delicious. Loved the meat and cheese plate as a starter – the cheeses were of high quality and plentiful; chicken breast in wine sauce was cooked to perfection; fresh spaghetti with eggplant was my favorite; plus the fruit and greens salad. Save room of course for the pastries. It’s heaven! We brought our own wine as the restaurant hasn’t a liquor license. For now it’s a cash-only restaurant.

This Italian café is brand new and is doing a soft launch. They haven’t been open a week. They don’t take credit cards yet, nor do they have a liquor license. Regardless, I had an excellent(and I do mean excellent) omelette with herbs and vegetables and I am looking forward to eating there again. I have high hopes for this place, as the chef is a recent Italian immigrant; I can’t wait for the complete roll out!
