The pharmacy here is terrible. This is the first place I came to with a prescription and the pharmacist was rude and no one could take the time to explain why my medication wasn’t covered by insurance. Thankfully, I remembered Hueneme Pharmacy. I took my prescription there and the staff were helpful and let me know how to get a prior authorization from my doctor and now I get my medication with insurance coverage.

I had the worst experience here last night. This seems like probably not the perfect place to share a witness to a crime but I guess we live in an age of social media where sometimes it is the easiest form of communication.
So last night I went in to get a water for my daughter before we went to go see the Christmas lights on candy cane lane. She was waiting in the car with my sister and it’s funny because this conversation actually came up about the tag line that Walgreens has. «On the corner of happy and healthy.» In our nightly prayers my daughter and I always say «lord, keep us safe and happy and healthy.» So I said that.
Well, while in the store a man runs in and grabs some kind of electronic and runs out. One the the employees actually runs out to go check it out and that’s what freaked me out the most. I knew my daughter and my sister were in the car and if any kind of escalation happened outside my family could have easily been included in it either emotionally or physically. What a way to ruin a beautiful Christmas evening.
I am appalled at the lack of security at this store. I asked the cashier who was obviously shaken if this was something that happened regularly and she said «sadly, without fail, every single night.» No one should have to be exposed to such an unsafe working environment. I did not feel safe in this store and will not be returning. I really hope this matter is addressed promptly.

I’ve been shopping at this pharmacy since they opened as it’s close to my home and also because I have most of my prescriptions filled here. I had the worst experience there this evening due to their employee, Daniel. My daughter and I were there to buy cosmetics when this event occurred. Daniel does not belong in an environment where customer service is required because he lacks the ability to observe most basic common courtesies needed to communicate with customers. He was extremely rude and offensive. This isn’t the first time either. I haven’t in all my life had to deal with an employee who is so nasty, sarcastic and talks to customers in an insulting manner. He does not apologize for his behavior nor did the manager on duty do anything about him even though she witnessed his nasty dialogue. The manager of this store should fire him immediately, and talk to the evening manager as well for allowing this employee to talk to customers the way he did.

Another ZERO! because of this pharmacy, including both Oskar & Michael, I will no longer be a customer. Four days later I went to pick up my prescription & Oscar said they did not have it anymore. They must have given it to someone else in the meantime. But he said to come back three days later to for sure have it filled again. They needed to order it… again. On this third day, I arrived at the drive-​thru, I had my dog in the car, at 834p. There were two cars in front of me, a white sedan was at the window, then a burgundy small suv, then myself. I didn’t want to go to the next lane over since I had a voucher on my phone to show them so I waited patiently. At 904p I finally arrive at the window to be turned away by both Oskar & the pharmacist Michael because they were CLOSED! I said I had been waiting and then I was cut off, the pharmacy is now CLOSED! I tried again to proceed to speak and again was rudely interrupted that they were CLOSED! I said I want to speak to your supervisor. Not even showing up to the window I hear a different voice, the pharmacy is now CLOSED… again not allowing me to get a word through. BBB is next.

I give the Walgreens store itself 3 stars, But the pharmacy gets ZERO! It’s like they feel privileged and don’t have to fill your medication within the hour they say they will. Let’s be honest. How hard is it to read insurance cards, grab the paper, fill the bottle, and send us on our way. I injured my neck and needed the medication right away but they didn’t have it ready so I decided to stand in the window and watch them work. If your going to slack I’d rather it be you actually working while I watch instead of chatting. Maybe the better business bureau should be called. Idk great store but bad pharmacy

Ordered pictures online and they were HORRIBLE. they were not cut or printed properly. Spoke to the manager who was not helpful at all! Ive had two horrible experiences and both with Walgreens

The pharmacy is terrible. I dropped off three prescriptions and was told that they would be ready in an hour. I returned an hour later and had to wait an additional 45 minutes. When they finally called me to the counter, they said that they couldn’t fill 2 of the 3 prescriptions. Thank you for wasting all of my time. Now I can not give my son his much needed medication until tomorrow. Unbelievable.

The whole staff is pretty much awesome. I have to give a extra thanks to a few employees I got to know through my many shopping trips there. First there was Vanessa who helped me understand the coupon policy, she went far and beyond her her job title. She was super kind friendly helpful and professional. She even voided a transaction that she noticed another employee had wrung me up wrong for. Who does that?
Another employee that is far beyond awesome is Bryan, he mostly rings up the customers. I feel like he’s my little bro when I see him. He is also kind friendly funny n helpful.

Also there are two managers there that are awesome. We have the morning shift Darren and I believe another Bryan at night. Both awesome!
Darren is so helpful! He will show me where the product is if I ask and he tells me about deals he is about to post up. I think one time I asked him around 6 questions in my 2 hour period in that store, he answered everyone of them and not only that stopped what he was doing to show me. We at one point checked out the deals in the ad together. Lol I thought that was awesome. He even gave me tips about laundry detergents hahahah
I will forever come to this Walgreens it’s my second home and I love the people that work there they feel like family. Enough said I think I said it all
That you staff for being so kind to me

Walgreens is located between 5^th Street and Ventura Road next to the 7 – 11 gas station.
I remember it is fairly new and I came here this morning to buy some dish soap, deodorant, and floss picks with my coupons.
Like all Walgreens, everything is organized and neat with price labels. I was lucky to grab the last Ban deodorant but they are pretty much out of stock.
Check out was fast and the cashier was really nice. I would come again this Walgreens since the Vineyard location is further to reach.
