This has got to be 1 of my favorite places to grab a pizza. It’s sad that I don’t work down the street anymore or else my tastebuds would be delighted more often. After not having been here in over a year I was so happy my husband had to come to Oxnard so I was more than happy to join him & took him here for his 1^st time. He got the artichoke special & loved it. I always get the spinach & feta, which per usual did not disappoint. Everybody I have introduced to this pizza has thanked me. The service is always superb, made fresh to order. The owner is such a nice man, it feels good to support a mom & pop business.

This is HANDS DOWN the BEST pizza! In my opinion, it TOTALLY blows Toppers and Round Table out of the water! Not only is it great in how it tastes, but you can’t beat the price. I highly recommend this place :)

So the wife and I were coming back from Ventura this evening and decided to try this place out. We have been talking about it for a while, but always seems to slip our mind. Well let me tell you. This was some of the best pizza I have eaten in all my years in all of Ventura County. In a word «EXCELLENT»

Uptown pizza has the best delivery pizza in town.
The crust is freshly made.
I don’t know what kind of cheese they use but it is delicious.
They have a great selection of delicious fresh toppings and if you don’t like the same ones as your friends they will do half and half with different toppings for you.
They have a sesame studded crust that is really unique and tasty.
The delivery people are always friendly and offer you Parmesan cheese and dried peppers right away instead of having to ask.
It’s locally family owned which we like instead of a chain.

Definitely one of the best Pizza Places in The City. You Definetly should come and try it

Pizza is good, nice sauce but I prefer a more refined crust. The side salad was above and beyond good. I would come here again.

If you are looking for the best pizza on Oxnard, here it is. Better than toppers even. Crispy crust, quality toppings. I usually get the personal size Greek feta. Yummy.

I came here for lunch and I should have gotten a slice of pizza instead of a sammich. Any who I got the chicken Caesar salad sandwich and it comes with chips or a small salad. I got chips (should have gotten a salad) and they’re just regular fun size chips that you could buy at a food store.
Well the sandwich was ok, not given it a bad review because its a pizza place and you should go for the pizza.

I like the crust and the pizza sauce. It’s good pizza and good customer service, but I do wish they’d use fresh pineapple. I can almost taste the can it comes from. The small details like that make a big difference and can make a good pizza into a great one

Uptown Pizza is awesome! They use high quality ingredients. If I were you I would order the extra sauce on pizza. The pizza is not grease either. Highly recommended!!!

The pizza was great! Cheese wasn’t messy or falling off, for the portions I got and they were pretty big. Unless you prefer cheese falling off, then go to Toppers. Crust wasn’t too thick and definitely not thin, yet had a mix of softness n crunch to it. The restaurant is a small decent size and the location is low key but it’s still a great spot to grab a slice then be in and out whether you sit or ar on the go. Fast customer service too. Would recommend this spot for pizza lovers.

This place has great service. Good food, and in my case willing to go the extra mile.
I am picky when it comes to food in general and that’s why I try every place I can. That’s right you read correctly. If I don’t like the food I’m not coming back. After the food, the décor of the place is next followed by the service.
The location is hidden and if it were not for Unilocal I never would have thought to look in the Oxnard Outlets for great food.
What did I Order?
My version of a deep dish… Minus the deep dish.
Twisted crust pizza, no sauce, cheese, sausage, fresh tomatoes, topped with sauce and lightly dusted with Parmesan. That’s right sauce on top, don’t knock it until you try it.

Uptown has some very good pizza, but I remember why I don’t go there often. The price is up there in the tier of Round Table Pizza and California Pizza Kitchen. Pizza doesn’t need to be that high in cost unless it’s topped with meats or veggies I can’t pronounce. The four pizza sizes available are about two to three dollars more than from other similar pizza joints.
I can’t compare the taste of it to others, but they definitely are unique. The addition of sprinkled sesame seeds on the crust and the twisted crust is tasty and creative. I would recommend the chicken fajita pizza if you like some spice or it’s your first visit and don’t mind trying something different.

A friend and I stopped here for lunch and were pleasantly surprised by how well Uptown Pizza does the crust. It was fresh & tasty and sprinkled with a few toasted sesame seeds. I don’t always eat the pizza crust, but I ate this one. :)
I ordered the Spinach/​Feta but regardless of what toppings you prefer, the crust can make all the difference in a good pizza.

What a hidden gem Uptown Pizza is at the Oxnard outlets! I feel like Unilocalers really need to know how delish this place is but then it wouldn’t be such a hidden gem lol
I was introduced to this local spot by my dental coworkers and was really impressed by a myriad of things:
+ Friendliness
+ Cleanliness
+ Ingredient freshness
+ Cozy indoor atmosphere
+ Outdoor patio seating
+ Awesome lunch specials
Out of all the pros, it’s really the lunch specials that bring me in. You can’t beat a slice of pepperoni or cheese pizza with a side of Greek salad for about ~$ 7. And they have the best Greek salad in town: D

I arrived at 2:30pm and was told the owner who is the only one who can operate the register went to pick his kids up for school but that he’d be right back. I was fine with waiting as I was looking forward to this pizza place (I left a great review in Dec 2013).
After waiting for 10 minutes I asked the guy if I could just leave cash for the pizza as I only wanted 2 slices of cheese pizza. He said he doesn’t have any cheese pizza and only the owner knows how to make it.
After waiting another 10 minutes (it’s now 2:50) the owner shows up and asks what I want. No apology for being late or thanking me for waiting. I ask for «two slices of cheese pizza» and he says «how about pepperoni? I don’t have any cheese.» I then asked how long it takes to make cheese pizza and he immediately responded with «we don’t make cheese pizza by the slice after 3pm» — mind you it’s still 2:50 but that’s besides the point. I didn’t even get into it. I told him I’d take the two slices of pepperoni that had been waiting for me for the last 20 minutes!
The pizza tasted like it looked– old and microwaved. I’m so disappointed as I used to like this place but I am a lost customer and will be sharing this experience with my co-​workers whom I keep telling yo come here… But they have the right idea… Go to a different pizza place!
Waste of time and money. Horrible service!!!

And let me start my setting some people on here straight!
To the «too expensive» comments, please… keep going to your greasy pizza joints like toppers or Pizza Man Dan’s. The amount of toppings this place puts on their pizza is well worth the price, but seriously forget that! The taste of the crust is amazing, the flavor in both their red and garlic sauce is to die for. Yes its more pricey than some other lame pizza places that I have already mentioned but c’mon, do you want to eat good pizza or just cardboard with ketchup and processed meats?
Ok. rant done, now onto the review.
This place is locally-​owned and run by a very nice family that always goes out of their way to make sure that our experience is well worth what we paid for. They have enough toppings and combinations to satisfy any type of customer. I have tried about 4 – 5 different combinations with their red and white sauce and by far the white garlic sauce is one of my favorite.
I’m not sure what they do to their dough but not only is it the perfect consistency of crunchy and soft, but it tastes delicious as well. If I had one gripe it would be their hours, because they are family-​run they sometimes close early when they see business slowing down. While I can understand that I would like some more consistency in that.

Settebello’s in the Collection (Amazing Neapolitano Style Pizza)
RedBrick Pizza (All-​around good pizza)
So don’t let the bad reviews posted on here discourage you, when you can afford it ;) give Uptown Pizza a try, you will not be disappointed by the taste!

If you are going to eat pizza this good, I suggest dinning in, no pizza will ever be amazing delivered, its kind of a no-​brainer!
