Great food. Generous portions of meat. Well cooked. Excellent customer service on the part of the owner. Unfortunately, the son had such poor customer service skills that I felt embarrassed for the owner. The father saved the day in the end. Perhaps the son just needs a different summer job.

I’m from Texas and have been stationed in California since 2012 and i can honestly say that this is the FIRST time that Mexican food has hit the spot for me since ive moved here! Came across this place by chance and stopped to eat because the word «tacos» was on the side of the building. Now i’m bringing all my buddies im stationed with to eat here. Good food. Fresh ingredients. Awesome service. One of the few spots i recommend in Oxnard/​Ventura area.

I’ve been a customer back in the days when tacos were 50 cents each! This place seriously has the biggest tortas ever! (check out my picture!) I guess it’s more of quantity over quality here. It’s not the greatest tasting, it’s still pretty good. The carnitas tastes good. The burritos are okay (there are better places), but I come here for the tortas!!! Olé!

The carne asada taco had no flavor. It had a good, crispy texture, though. I think they bought it on Tuesday when they were closed and I ate it on Thursday and they had cooked all the flavor out of it letting it sit in the steam tray for 3 days. $ 1.25 and small.
